Darren Fletcher just mentioned on BT the Coutinho situation with Barca and Bayern.
I remember reading about it last week and didn't pay it much mind, but I'm failing to understand how the loaning team could agree to have to pay additional money to the side who has taken their player on loan. As an expert at loaning players you hope to profit off of, that is the complete opposite of how that process is intended to work. Barca are just incredible.

It's an unsubstantiated rumour circulated by that Rafael Hernandez prick on Twitter who knows absolutely fuck all about anything.

I'm a bit amazed BT Sport are repeating it without researching it tbh.
By GQman2121 Go To PostDarren Fletcher just mentioned on BT the Coutinho situation with Barca and Bayern.I didn't hear what Fletcher said, but I believe in Barca's initial deal with Liverpool, one of the add-ons was €5m for winning the CL. I am sure their lawyers can reasonably argue that the clause would only apply if it was achieved with Barca.. otherwise, I would be almost certain they included language in the loan contract with Bayern that Bayern owe them or Liverpool the €5m (or more in the case of the payment going to Barca) if Coutinho won it while there. Barca are dumb, but I don't think they'd be dumb enough to lock themselves into paying money to Liverpool for a loaned player succeeding. I think it's just people in the media saying something without actually having a clue of the contract language.

Why is everyone committed to playing 4-3-3 in the BBC generator? You can change the formation, though you can't mix and match the positions.

I think it was Joyce who said the only outstanding €5m bonus for Coutinho was to reach 90/100 Barça league games (can't remember which)

By Killer7 Go To PostGuess this Perisic move won't be a permanent one with Sane in?Probably worth holding on to if he's willing to stay. I can't imagine he'd cost much more than €20m and he's a good quality player.

I am impressed by the Caqueret kid. I honestly had not heard of him before the game vs us.. looks like a good player.

I'd rather pick Miroslav Klose but he wasn't available.

The rumor I read, and what Fletcher said to McManaman live on air, was that if Bayern win on Sunday, Barca have to pay them an additional £5m.
It just sounds so absurd that it has to be bullshit.

I'm leaning PSG now that Neymar is fit. But his scoring touch is wayward. So far.
Even Lewa is wayward right now.

PSG are going to do it.
By Kidjr Go To PostAre bayren favourites for everyone?Think so. Have thought they'd win it at all since football started back up. Won 20 games in a row before this and 24 of 25. PSG are very good, but Bayern look like they are too much for anyone right now.
By Kidjr Go To PostAre bayren favourites for everyone?
yeah but i'd like PSG to win.
Both sides just have so many quality players in attack, that I really think it'll comes down to whomever is able to dictate play through the midfield and play balls forward. That's a super simple analysis, but each defense has shown that they're vulnerable when out of possession against fast attacking teams. Ball retention and possession will win out.

By Kidjr Go To PostAre bayren favourites for everyone?I've thought they're the best team in the world for many months now and nothing has changed.
Think Bayern may have a shakier defense than PSG but I think there isn't a clear favorite assuming both teams field their best XI
