[El País]: Mauricio Pochettino: "Once said I'd rather go back to my farm than coaching Barça? I didn't want to disrespect Barcelona, maybe now I wouldn’t say it, you never know what could happen in life."

Don´t think it was mentioned or showed here before but the Porto team and staff made Casillas lift the Portuguese Cup with Danilo.
Can anyone who watches Porto tell me anything about Luis Diaz? Reports from Portugal saying we've bid, but I just don't understand the point of aiming for another winger.

Pacey player, good dribbling skills and has a decent shot.
Haven't seen that much of him though.

Playing FM with a 06/07 season mod and Philippe Senderos just scored a perfect hat-trick for me

By Xpike Go To Postarteta has more trophies than poch
you can say he wasnt supported etc etc but for their supposedly golden era they couldnt even win a carabao cup
By Vini.lad Go To PostPoch should have won at least an english cup with Tottenham. Even Juande Ramos did.
Maurice can't blame that on the board. He had a good enough team to win a cup. He did a great job overall and all that, but he failed miserably on the cups.
I always said Poch wasn't a top tier manager. Dude is good at the technical stuff, but he is a loser. He always wanted to find reasons for why they would lose before they did.
By Xpike Go To PostConte seems like one of those people that will never be happy even in victory, man was 1 point away from Juve and still has decided to throw a temper tantrum
Same with this guy. He is good enough to win, but not great enough to compete in the biggest compteitions. He already has his excuses made before a ball has been kicked.
By Xpike Go To Postsign da thing coutihno (for the rumored 9m fee)
I wouldn't sign him if Barca paid us 50 million. I don't think he is a top level player, and only scores screamers now and again.

He's coming back to Madrid this summer, what his exact role will be is still unclear though.
Like Salah, Elliott loves to operate wide on the right and cut inside on to his favoured left foot. In training the day before games, he’s often tasked with trying to stop the flying Egyptian.Go on Klopp, Trent him
“Yeah, I play left-back against him,” he says. “The day before a match, we do play-outs from the back at Melwood. We analyse the way the opposition play and then us players who aren’t starting are asked to play out in the same way so the first team can get a feel of what it’s going to be like in the match the next day.
“I’m normally left-back for that. To be up against Mo and to see what he does, how he moves, the way in which he changes his speed; he’s world-class and so tricky to deal with. If I can keep up with Mo, then I know I’m doing OK! I look up to him a lot.”
Personally, I wouldn't fully give up on Guendouzi, but I guess Arteta already has and most likely has a good motivation for it
Apparently Danny Rose was on that captains podcast you lot bang on about talking about how he wants to play for us again and how good we’ve been good to him when he’s not always been good to us. Desperate imo
Players like him never properly make it. You can tell when they start pandering to the fans that they lack the professionalism required by the top clubs.

It would be absurd to throw in the towel for a 21 year old who has already shown he can play at a high level, but if Arteta doesn't like him he does need to move. Barca would be a guaranteed disaster though
