By Fergie Go To PostHe's going to score 5 in the final. But it won’t matter when Lewandowski nets 6.
FF is right about these underdog sides. They always get their backs blown out. If Lyon beat Bayern, it's PSG domination.
Checked the latest posts and didn’t see this (sorry if DC), but I thought it was relevant since PSG are through to the final:
Kind crazy that the song that they played after the final whistle is from a guy who lives close to me.
PSG looking good. Still hope one of the others win.
Tuchel’s very impressive, isn’t he? Dortmund bros, why didn’t it work out there?

By Diego! Go To PostLots of Man United rejects in European finals this seasonWe create winners, just not when they're with us.
Also the ESPN commentator in Español thought defenders can't play players on if they're down on the ground and the 3rd goal was offside, for whatever reason
Something that still makes me giggle when I think about it: Pogba leaving J Brand for Manchester Club.

absolutely horrific against Atalanta and Dortmund.

Weird comment from Rob Green on the BBC live text tonight:
"I've never been a Neymar fan. He is not a centre half who can kick it 60 yards."

Even before the commitment there were some warnings from Mainz.Starting with his strike after reaching the European League although he had a contract with 1-2 years remaining.
There were also warnings about his personality, but the management thought that they could handle these issues.
The biggest problems came in the passing of time. The first half of the year went quite well and we changed from strong pressing ala Klopp to ball possession football. Then some problems with the team followed. There were some players who had complete fool freedom, while others were pushed very hard.
At the end of the first season there were already very strong doubts, because he split the team deeper and deeper and completely consciously.
This was not only the case with the team, he also managed to make himself unpopular with 99% of the staff, whether groundskeepers or management.
The summer followed and we had to give up 3 of our top performers, although Watzke had emphasized that we would never give up all three.
With Gündogan and Hummels it was quickly foreseeable. Micky on the other hand had always implied that he wanted to extend, even though he had Raiola negotiate with United. Nobody in management knew about this, and of course it took everyone by surprise. In the end Tuchel was angry, which I can understand to a certain extent, but he also dropped all his restraints.
He acted like an asshole. Sven Mislintat had scouted a player and Zorc was already very far in these negotiations (Olivier Torres). Tuchel had said that he would like to have him, but then suddenly made it clear that he would never play with him. This led to the break with Mislintat and he forbid him to enter the training ground. So the head scout and squad planner next to Michael Zorc was completely cut off.
At that time they should have split up already, because that caused a lot of trouble among the staff.
Unfortunately, they didn't do that and they continued to let themselves be fooled.Andre Schürrle was only hired to appease Tuchel, although everyone knew that this would not work.
The season ran further and increasingly often followed were bad results.Andre Schürrle was only hired to propitiate Tuchel, although everyone knew that this would not work out for Schürrle or us.
Then came a point where it was considered that such an event would be more likely to weld together. The bomb attack on the bus.
The UEFA put a lot of pressure on the management, you have to play or it will be rated against us.
They were aware of their responsibility and clearly offered both players and the coaching team that they didn't have to play. Everyone who did not want to participate was allowed to stay at home. Tuchel himself expressed internally that he wants the game. Some players cried during the internal meeting and Tuchel dropped the sentence "And with these wimps I should beat Bayern?".
Which was bad enough, was then topped by his public appearance. He was allegedly only informed by SMS that the game must take place. What was just a lie.
This was just the complete break down. Lying like that towards the press and those internal remarks were just completely off the mark.
He even tried to get his fans behind him now. Before, he never showed any form of interest to fan issues, regularly skipped interviews with fangroups, fan magazines etc. Suddenly he had an interest in them, to get the public on his side.
They let it go on until the end, because there was still a cup final, where Tuchel stepped on the team again. He tried again and again to split the team, that didn't work for everyone. Especially the players who had played together for a longer time didn't take part in this theatre.
There were some injuries in midfield and a creative player was needed. Nuri Sahin was ready, fit and had some good games. Everybody expected him to play because there was simply no one else who could be considered for this position. What did Tuchel do? He didn't even nominate him because he hated him and instead put a central defender there.
The cup was won, but after the game the leading players made their voices heard and expressed their lack of understanding for the coach in TV interviews and shows.
Afterwards it went relatively fast. Tuchel even knew that it was over even before he went to the final analysis of the season. Before that he made himself a Twitter account, invited the Bild editors and after the analysis he went to his Bild friends right away. Saying that it was a complete suprise.
Someone please buy him.
Can already see Bayern taking him as Boateng replacement, after they get rid of Hernandez as well.
