Imagine leaving your club in the middle of the CL and they reach semifinals and possibly the finals.
Werner is such a pecho frío. He's going to flop hard in a big club

apparently United want Costa? He's world class for like two games and then good luck getting him fit, the definition of unreliable.
n8 won't even both having him in his XIs

I just don't understand how these pundits can keep repeating that United have as strong a front three as anyone in the league

To be fair to them, they’ve each missed about a quarter of the season through injury or non-selection in Greenwood’s case, so that’s a pretty good record and not necessarily indicative of inconsistency. All three have improved this season and scored lots of goals.
By JesalR Go To PostThat's cool, they're still not as good in my opinion. All three are extremely hot and coldThis season our front three have been really good. But there is some consistency issue usually with young players. Greenwood is still young and never know what you get with Rashford/Martial. Either they come back worse next season or they come back and do even better.
Rashford: 22 in 44
Martial: 23 in 48
Greenwood: 17 in 49
Mane: 22 in 47
Firmino: 12 in 52
Salah: 23 in 48
Obviously this is moot because three of them have won everything in the game in the last year (and Firmino’s game is clearly not based around goals, lol) but still. Lot younger than Liverpool’s front three too.

It's so obvious that Sancho is the player to bring us to the next level.

Well yeah they’ve been playing against Kazakhstani farmers in the Europa, Liverpool haven’t.
Also, those are great numbers, but the amount of times I've seen Rashford have a game like tonight is wild. Greenwood is exciting, but he's scored some absolute blinders and I think his conversion rate will revert to some mean. Martial can be phenomenal when not injured.
Regardless, I think injury records are a fair part of rating a player. Mane, Salah, Firmino are near enough ever presents and are always there to come through at the clutch moments.

I like him
Fred played well tonight. Won the ball back and got it to the creative players quickly. Don't think he'll ever have the positional awareness of Matic, but he could develop into a decent DM with enough time there.
God, another PL team sputters out.
You guys absolutely slaughtered me when I said early on that AWB was a stop gap solution because Utd were desperate for a RB and that you’d have to replace him when other positions were fixed.
It’s only one game but Utd look like they’ll be up for a stumbling season without a spark somewhere. Maybe if Sancho comes through he’ll be what you need.

By Yurtlicious Go To Postlol I'm trying to imagine Xavi as a managerQuestion is whether he'll be more of a twat after a win or after a loss
christ he's gonna be one insufferable cunt
He'll take the smugness and the whining to both extremes
Xavi would say the whole match needs to be replayed because the grass wasn't up to regulation after getting kicked out of CL by PSV Eindhoven
By Perfect Blue Go To PostRemember Daniel James
haven't seen laboured talk about him in a while.
what happened.
By Fergie Go To PostNo matter how embarrassing Napoli are next season, watching those three crash out of the CL quarterfinals together would redeem the entire year for me.

Lol. The Mail threw a wobbler because one of their newspaper mates didn't get a press pass, but Andy Mitten did.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostHow did Reguilon play? He's had a really good year under Lope.He was obviously the best player on the pitch by some distance, balon d'or performance if I ever saw one.

Sancho is the priority and so be it should he be the only signing. We're not going to win next season regardless. The goal should be to fill out the squad the summer after or the summer after that. Just got to accept the transition.
Ole needs help, he knows how to recruit but the board needs to back him, otherwise we'll fall behind.

Which would have solved alot of your problems already.
By Daz Go To PostWe have a right wing issue that sancho can solve.
Stop resisting and let this happen
By Frustrated_me Go To PostYou know what, I'm happy for LopeteguiDamn I did not recognize him. He has gone downhill, self-care wise 👀
Cant wait till we sign nobody until the last week of the transfer window and then get Douglas Costa last minute, only for him to get injured during the 1st game.
