Never seen a team accidentally leave the aegis on the floor and give it away before, at any level. How do they not communicate who is picking it up, and how does nobody notice it's absence on the incident list?

How do they not communicate who is picking it up, and how does nobody notice it's absence on the incident list?loll this is a classic, it's probably more likely to happen in 5 stacks if anything, there's a lot of implicit communication. i've had it happen to me while playing antimage before, i just assumed the mid would take it, and was completely focused on where i'd go next so i blinked straight out... but our mid assumed i would take it and did the same. we were even all on discord lol. seen it happen in pro games too. always funny.
I've had it where I assume someone else it taking it and have no room in my inventory. Nothing makes you forget what the buttons do like trying to make room for an aegis while it's on the floor, your teammates are walking away and the other team is moving in on the pit
Been ages since I've had a good PA match
Feels so good, christ knows how it feels doing it on this stage

Spirit are great fun, delighted for them. Collapse is such a good Magnus, and Yataro has killed it. Love watching Torontotokyo as well. Really glad a lower bracket team is in the grand finals, bit shit when its just a repeat of a series from the day before.

This has been one of the better Internationals, imo. Teams really have gotten so much better at strategy and mind-games than even just a few years ago.
By Hitch Go To PostThey deserve a crowd :(💯
By rerixo Go To Postchrist mag is stupid. icefrog's lost his mindHas anyone else played it to even remotely a similar level to Collapse? He just seems to be on another level entirely.
They do need to nerf the code of the horn toss, though.
collapse went off in that early game fight bottom lane, after that it was bang average gameplay. what makes him look so good is spirit's insane vision control, they're constantly outmanoeuvring lgd. not saying collapse isn't v good, but it's all about how he's set up, there's no requirement for him to pull off challenging plays. horn toss is one of the dumbest things i've ever seen in dota, and they're perfectly abusing it
Don't know who to root for, Spirit for being the underdogs or LGD for getting good luck from Messi and Neymar

Quite happy with that for my second Void Spirit game. First one laned okay, then got forced into safe lane after our carry got battered and just fell off a cliff. Wish the spectate tool included a way to record and upload clips, not a fan of fraps or geforce.

By Kibner Go To PostMight be jumping back into LoL to spend time playing with a friend. *shudder*
is he really a friend if he's dragging you into LoL?
Ember Spirit is so fun to use once your mana pool sorts itself out
I'm dogshit at landing the sleight/root combo, and remembering to use the remnants, but still

I play it regularly, the game is in good state atm
Doing my ranked placement matches again
Medusa is stupid as shit. Just play ultra safe in lane, then ten minutes of jungle farming and you basically guarantee that you'll win (or save) the key teamfights because her ult and splitshot is so op.
Can see her becoming one of my mains once I learn how to manage resources with her, getting better at toggling her shield and arrows.

By Righteous Furry Go To PostDoing my ranked placement matches againThe thing to be wary of is opposing teams accelerating the game to the point that Medusa never comes online. Or an enemy team composition that can isolate and cc.

Probably stuff that will only come into play at higher MMR, though.
Oh, I've had matches with her before where I've been battered. A few games ago I played against a Pudge who kept hooking me beyond the tree line, which is basically a guaranteed death because of how slow she is, her turn speed and lack of escape and survivability early on. She's one of the worst carries to play from behind as well, without items or a babysitter she's easy to kill when you invade the jungle.
I wonder if it would lead to fun gameplay to have a moba where there isn't a death timer. Instead, it just costs gold to respawn. So, if you have enough gold reserves, you could keep respawning until you run out. And the gold cost would scale with networth.
Just played my first ever match with an actual broken hero
They've accidentally made Underlord's aoe damage do like 100x what it's supposed to

Biggest throw I've ever seen. Fighting and fountain diving when the ancient has 2% hp left is normally my specialty, nice to be on the right side of it for a change.

Grand final of the Arlington Major is in a few hours btw, last playoff for it is in a few minutes
Expect PSG will win quite easily. Don't think the pro meta is in a very good place right now, far too many games are ending within 30 minutes, with the team that takes first advantage never relinquishing it. Don't know how that gets fixed, even if they wanted shorter matches they can't have wanted them to be so one-sided. Dire also seems to be significantly better for heroes that plant themselves in the jungle with no equal advantage for Radiant, so a map change is probably needed.

Yeah, map update is needed to balance out the Dire advantage. I'm enjoying the game length and general pace, though. Even your favorite has made it a habit to be losing early and coming back late in like half their games. Could do with some particular hero balancing to get more variety, of course.
Main thing I'd love is for Brood, Meepo and Arc Warden to be viable. Anti-Mage, Riki and Clinkz as well to a lesser extent. Always interesting when heroes are overlooked by a team, then picked and they completely change the way matches flow. Techies used to be the same, though I won't pretend to miss him.

I always assume that a Naga will win a game that goes beyond 50 minutes
Yataro's MK tho 😎
MK ult scales much better than you'd think at first glance with the talent and aghs. Might be even stronger than chrono, even if not for kills you can zone such a huge area

There's going to be a lot of fuckery this patch while they figure out what's broken
They've rebalanced the dire/radiant jungle camps thankfully

Only games I caught after the group stages were Nigma getting battered

There were some fantastic games. Definitely try to find some vods. I'm sure there is a reddit post listing the most exciting games.

Unranked matchmaking is so shit. Could have sworn it's supposed to have a hidden MMR system to stop stuff like this happening. All it does is put new players off.
