Would love a hanging pot rack set up over a kitchen island.
Moving into our new place in just under two weeks and obsessively been thinking about how to decorate it. Going to abuse tf out of floating shelves for plants 😂

By i can get you a toe Go To PostI know why but I've always kind of hated the whole front door opens to a fucking staircase in larger homes. Also it's definitely got that English Aristocracy thing where each room has a vibe versus the whole house, that's why it seems so discordant to y'all. This is where the ladies have tea vs this is where the bruhs drink whiskey and smoke cigars shit. It's not just that but all the main rooms were designed by different interior decorators and none of them tie in together in any way to the house itself.
It wouldn't be a problem if the seating was further away but yeah nah. And I know some people can't possibly have too big a tv for any space but this really pushes that.
Packing stuff for our move and it kills me how many kitchen accessories and dishes we have that we have never used lol such a waste of space. Going to give a lot of it back to my mom.
So many reusable plastic containers we got from Uber Eats too.

Muhfuckers scared of a splash of colour. This look way past the pale of too sterile and industrial.
This type of arch design requires color from the actual interior design. Pops of color from curtains, paintings, vases flowers etc etc
I dig it .
The open floor space master is weird tho.

fuuuuuuuuuck
My favorite part of that is the library
Why not have some cool decorative elements on top of the cabinets. I've lived in open and more closed off. They both have their perks, it really depends on what you want to be doing or paying for. If you don't feel like spending fuckloads in Ac/heating those huge spaces and high ceilings are a no go.

Foam insulation really makes a difference along with tankless water heaters.

I really gotta move to the Caribbean,

Open plan/high ceilings in cold zones, eeehhhh.

By Lunatic Go To PostThis is how my family's house is. I like the big open spaces. Is the material on that couch leather? I’d imagine y’all pump up the AC so it doesn’t get hot or sticky in there. Never messed with leather upholstery because it’s too much in the summer.

By Lunatic Go To PostYes it is but it is like 24C inside at all times.Yeah, that’s good stuff.
In cars though... people who get black leather upholstery are mad men
By Perfect Blue Go To PostYeah, that’s good stuff. For sure bredrin. I made sure to get lighter pleather in my car. We also have heavy tinting on our cars,

It's currently 23 degrees here, and a covid hot zone, I'd go just about anywhere in the Caribbean right now man. A house looking like that is just a big bonus.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostYeah, that’s good stuff.Ventilated seats that have fans built into them. :)

why does everyone hate carpet now? it's so much more comfy, especially when it's cold
definitely not as ugly as wood choices in a lot of these pics
like this should be illegal. looks so cheap and tacky

By Perfect Blue Go To Postnow this is good. like fender said, you can just add in your own colour
Rugs are great but carpeted floors have fallen out of favour because of the upkeep needed for them and good flooring just looks better, IMO.

It’s custom, but the veneer looks cheap regardless. I don’t like modern built-ins unless they’re painted monotone.
Carpet is dirty. That’s it. Have kids. I put in luxury vinyl plank. Lol
Even people without kids got pets. That's legit another reason to say fuck no to carpet if you got the choice.
