By JesalR Go To PostWhere in London are you finding a 2bed for $350k?
I wouldn't pay more than 320 for a one bed anywhere south of Crystal Palace.

was above that price though
That’s more of an architectural set of pictures. Love it. The recessed cove lighting, tall wood doors, Pool in the roof that’s also a skylight. Just amazing

Seems like a troll and just some kids shit in a corner of a room. OP not even coming in and talking about it lol.
I like that as set design (and something different) but I couldn't personally live it. Looks uncomfortable, especially those dining chairs. All the tables look like if you put something over 5 pounds anywhere but the exact center they'd just topple over too.
By Daz Go To PostIts bold I'll give him thatLike i can get you a toe said, it reminds me of set design. Specifically unseen footage/photos of a scrapped set from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Anyone here seen the show Legion?
thats what it reminds me of - a set from Legion with its 60s aesthetic.

It's definitely 60s inspired but that doesn't make it comfortable. In fact a lot of stuff from that era sucks to sit in.

WTF is this Russian set design shit
The rug in her kitchen takes up 95% of the floor space which seems odd from a design perspective and a functionality perspective. Loved most things though
If I had Fender california long bread i'm retiring in a house like this fuck
but idk. california got earthquakes
Interesting because my first throughly was “They’re sacrificing privacy for aesthetics.”
I know someone who did the same thing and had issues with selling and their house was way more remote in central cali.
That being said. The monster windows off the rear are rad as fuck.

The furniture is a little mismatched but the apartment itself is gorgeous.

Weird trim choices IMo. Like the brass / gold door handles but black fixtures and white fixtures and shit. Also some of the wood trim is super traditional but the rest isn’t. Like the sconce above the chandeliers And wainscoting everywhere. I the end it all meshes and works but it’s seemingly sort of an odd mash of their personal likes
Sconces kind of suck and one big light source above does too but I guess they're stuck depending on what's allowed. Pot lights with dimmers is my preference now when I got a choice.

That fixture is super mod. And also super white. Their trims are black and gold. That wooden sconce on the ceiling is super traditional and so is all that trim.
I like wainscoting by the way, but the two contrasting styles here feel like a mismatch even though the end result is okay to me
Nothing in their house really makes sense together. It's not helped by their choice of color. Super white/black and then suddenly gold or bronze is actually kind of jarring. A little bit of tone in the white would be nice but they got a specific kind of "look how bold this is" thing going on.

Squints while looking for vents lol
Anyone know where I can find a solid L shaped sofa bed? (UK)
I have seen some in IKA bit the ratings aren't great.
is it a comfort issue?

Reminds me of a doll house for some reason. Must be the ability to see into the damn thing from that side.
Not really design, per se, but we were talking about surge protection in the next-gen console thread and that got me to thinking about whole home surge protection again. I think this video is a great example of what it is, how to install it, and how it works. The last two minutes are especially useful.
