Since a lot of us live in apartments or houses and we all need help decorating or arranging our spaces, I figured this would be a good thread to make. Especially since we all are stuck at home for a lot of the time now. Or just use it to discuss fancy looking buildings, home renovations, urban planning, cities, etc. it's all related one way or another.

Some useful sub-Reddits and resources:

Books I'll recommend:
Literally anything by Frank D.K. Ching but especially Interior Design Illustrated and Architecture: Form, Space, and Order.
Junichiro Tanizaki - In Praise of Shadows (1900's essay about Japanese aesthetics, great for inspiration)
William J.R. Curtis - Modern Architecture Since 1900 (influential and a massive survey on everything... since 1900. Frequently assigned in university courses)
Gaston Bachelard - The Poetics of Space
Jane Jacobs - The Death and Life of Great American Cities
