Feels kinda weird killing all these dogs with mine sitting in the room right next to me. Swear his ears perked up when one of them was yelping
4 hours in and I might have to restart the game. I’m at the courthouse and I’m supposed to use the elevator cables to get down to the garage but the map below wasn’t loaded so I just drop through and I’m below the map and I can see glitched out parts of the map. Restarted the ps4 and it was still happening so now I’m reinstalling the game and hopefully I can continue from my save.
Nope, still fucked. Looks like I’ll have to start all over again and hope the same thing doesn’t happen again. Why does God punish the ones he loves the most?

Seattle Day 2
Still haven't found the pistol holster. I saw the note about some safe in a garage but I couldn't find it. Hopefully it pops up. On to the Hospital.
edit:: got it.

Legit tears rn
They broke my girl. That set piece, lads...
edit: this foliage and lighting wtf. What's the best way to share images? Lose a lot of detail on twitter it seems.

The shotgun is a weapon of terror lmao. Dude rolling around in the floor screaming whilst he bleeds from the stump where his left arm used to be.
For the first time, I have more than 3 bullets for every gun in my arsenal

Finally got back to where I was before. Landed on top of an elevator this time. Last time there wasn’t one there.
Fuck Seattle LMAO

people in the subreddit absolutely hate the game lol.
guess the gamers got their TLJ (in terms of hc fans hating it while critics love it, i doubt it's half as good as TLJ)

Had a really fun combat encounter on Seattle Day 2, in the area where there are a load of houses on the right side as you enter the area. Should have saved the video clip ffs, felt really badass by the end lol
By Dipro Go To Postpeople in the subreddit absolutely hate the game lol.it's getting hard to decipher why gamers hate certain games, it's almost never about the game itself. Crunch culture? A sound designer retweeting a Trump meme? Story not going where you wanted it to go?

In any case, wherever this story goes, you can't hate on a 'game' that plays this good, they can all do one.
Perfect storm of female protagonist, LGBT themes, narrative choices not pandering to dudebro desires and lots of talk from reviewers/developers about it not being supposed to be ‘enjoyable’, per se.
I haven’t played the game, but from the outside that’s what I can see. By and large, gaming is a toxic culture, and the same goes for Star Wars, Marvel... hell, football. Anything where the primary audience is 18-45 white men is going to attract shitbags.

are they blind
I kind of just treat them as troll runners--but they are problematic when there are actual clickers present
Anyone else playing on survivor, did the clickers in the supermarket seem to be detecting you even when you were stood still?
Despite being kinda lukewarm on the story and themes, I still hope it sells 30 million copies just to piss off True Gamers everywhere.

Same lol.
But they will just move on to "the dumb mainstream will buy anything" or my favourite "it was too late for this one to flop but the next one will".
Is this upgrade thing a tree now? I can't increase my max hp without wasting pills on listen mode first? That sucks, if so. Make listen mode it's own tree, they must have known a lot of people would try not to use it.
Is Ellie supposed to leave blank pages at the start of the journal, or did I miss something?
Love how organic (in my experience at least) the start of the setpiece with Abby, Joel and Tommy is. Gives you just a few seconds to start figuring out where to begin scavenging and how to take out the infected, then you realise that there's more infected than you realised ahead, turn down the path to the right and a bunch of the fuckers start running at you, forcing you to flee through the centre path. In past ND games the first 10 seconds of that would have been a cutscene, and it'd start you off at a full sprint
Wonder if there was intended to be a fight at the library, or if the design of the place was a bit of a red herring. It's set up like your standard encounter zone.

the explosive arrows are so much fucking fun to use. and the sickle? whew, it's hard going stealth when going loud is so incredible.
enough can't be said about how well designed these combat arenas are. I'm constantly restarting these encounters

By Hitch Go To PostIs Ellie supposed to leave blank pages at the start of the journal, or did I miss something?yeah the game is filled with these moments. And the red herring bits are so frequent that they became predictable lol

gotta say I'm not enjoying any of these flashback chapters (except one) but I totally get why it's crucial to have them
this is hilariously a better stealth game than MGS ever was

fucking dying at tossing a bottle at a guy, hitting Dina in the head instead, and then getting shot to death because of it :;)
By Laboured Go To PostGet woke go broke lads
i have not read most posts, but the area and encounters after you get the arrow and the bow is so fucking good.
this game gives me very good mgs vibes. and it feels so good and it's so visceral.
it really opens up once you're dealing with human enemies.
very dumb question incoming: where is the hospital? do i still get there or should i have already visited it?
