FWIW, Sony already sells a pair of wireless 3D sound headphones for the PS4: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/explore/accessories/audio-and-communication/platinum-wireless-headset/
They are available on Amazon right now for under $120 but the list price is $160. They do not have any kind of noise cancellation, though.

By GQman2121 Go To PostI honestly haven't been following the day to day stuff for a while now, but is a second drive less model Series X already confirmed? How about a lower spec model Lockhart?the money sony/ms would save on hardware is small, but they can cut the price way further because costs will be recouped by better margins on digital software sales
I watched the DF PS5 video and John mentioned that a UHD drive is like $20 now. So it won't be a massive savings for Sony to give to consumers. The added value obviously comes from the software sales, but even that doesn't appear to be enormous.
By rodeoclown Go To PostThey're the same thing. Lockhart doesn't have a drive. Remains to be seen if Microsoft actually releases it, though, since they've been so coy about its existence to this point. So no one knows anything. That's what I thought.
The idea of a cheaper, less powerful machine always struck me as a really bad idea.
