The idea that if you didn't want a "black box" you should like this design, is a false dichotomy

People care about aesthetics because generally it's going to go into some kind of media center, and have a general care about how things look and flow. Most media centers/stands/ whatever are black, unless you're one of the few who got a full ikea setup in your living room.

Also the PS5 isn’t entirely white and the majority of the color facing forward is black unless you’re going to have it sideways which would be weird.
I just don’t see the problem with the color scheme, unless you have blue painted walls and an orange stand or something.

It's the largest console in modern memory, with pretty chunky blue glow lights, and an extremely standout shape (even if we leave aside that it's ugly)

Exclusive games are obviously one point of difference between our system and others.
But I really call out the criteria of quality rather than necessarily exclusivity. And when I look at our worldwide studios, it's really the quality of the work that they produce that counts.

Didn't they use Spider-Man to demo the system last year? I imagine they're going to re-release that in 4k with additional visual upgrades (just like Rockstar are doing with GTA) and then launch the Miles game.
Don't think any one thing blew me away, but they seem to have a solid foundation and will obviously have more to show over the summer.

Like I said, I'm not a huge fan but Alienware ugly it is not.
While it doesn't look exactly like an Alienware design, it does have similar characteristics to some Alienware designs. Mainly due to the contrast of black and white plastic with some LED illumination.
