It's definitely not a next gen overhaul. It looks like it's been made in such a way that it can be released early gen (near to launch) with a proper next gen GT8 down the line.
Xbox event has a good chance of having better looking games honestly. But I haven’t seen the 4K trailers yet.

What amazes me is that people have been playing video games for years and been through numerous console generations and are always disappointed that launch titles aren’t graphical powerhouses.
Alright I take it back Horizon does look pretty nuts in 4K. Spider-Man Miles Morales looks WAYYYYYYYY better than the stream though. Miles’s character model is pretty fucking nuts. Ratchet looks better but I guess I’m spoiled because Ratchet 2016 still looks pretty insane to this day.
Hope the console launches get delayed until March 2021 though. Feels like Sony and MS don’t have the software ready yet.
