Thank fuck for that. Really didn’t need that extra 30 minutes but good to be through. Give me anyone but City in the next round.
Almost made me look like an idiot being so confident lol.
Fernandes looked fucking knackered by the end. Think we should rest him for a bit on Tues tbh.

Thought Fernandes was a bit off today. Definitely looked better when he had Pogba and Martial to link with.
Rashford hasn't really gotten going either. Feel he needs a goal.
Good for Matic to get some rest. Has looked considerably better than McTom in that deeper role

We’ll fuckin smack em m8
We got Frank’s number innit

We won so i’m safe
Just seen the Dortmund highlights, bizarre how teams can pile in like that on the final day. Reminiscent of us vs Stoke and Spurs vs Newcastle. That third goal is a disgrace to basic team shape. Two players all alone on the left, every single Dortmund player drifting towards the ball.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostLeverkusen not in the CL next season via the league.
Havertz, come home lad

That back heel to Ighalo would've lead to a goal if Klose hadn't held him back and got sent off for it. It's encouraging that even when Bruno's playing poorly, he can still affect a game.

Issue is Covid will have fucked with so many clubs’ finances. We’ll have to let Sanchez go for peanuts I think.
Would happily get rid of all of the above for Sancho. Maybe keep Pereira and get rid of Mata instead. Bit more versatile, younger, no less shit.

Reminder that Ed Woodward signed Phil Jones to a new contract in order to safeguard his value despite the fact nobody wants him. We could've been rid by now.
By Daz Go To PostNah, we have to have something better than Perreira in the academy, surely.
Big ask to have someone even younger and more inexperienced than Gomes/Chong come in and do something.
By ATTICUS H Go To PostCouldn't watch the game (or read this thread). How were we?
Poor. Heavy rotation up top, but nothing surprising. Fred and McTom are never going to contribute going forward, Lingard and Mata are spent, Fernandes was knackered. Ighalo and Maguire the only players from the starting XI who did much.
Thought Pogba was very good when he came on, and Mason was bright enough.
Thank u n8. Am so drunk.
Sounds like a gritty, wasteful, inefficient performance. Expected as much. At least we're thru. Sounds like Bruno played 120 mins tho... He's gotta be benched for Brighton (even tho we really cant afford that).
quik wishlist for summer:
1x depth - creative forward (someone who we can conceivably bench and can play across two positions of the front three)
1x depth - creative midfielder (we need backup for bruno/pogs)
1x starter - lb (this isn't gonna happen, but I can hope. No, I still don't trust Shaw)
1x depth - cb (a pacy, ball-playing CB who can deputise/potentially challenge for a starting spot)
Goodnight. Much love

It's a stupid thing to say at this point but I'd be a bit disappointed if Sancho was our only get this summer
UNLESS we promote the youf, ofc

I'm glad that it wasn't a direct influence for the table. Cologne for example got slaughtered by Bremen.
Given that we had alot of injuries and Can was suspended, our lineup was kinda forced.
Morey, Reyna, Balerdi are all young players with hardly any experience. While Reyna as the youngest got by far the most. Not a good game by him. Morey at least showed some passion and wasn't that bad.
Balerdi had his first game as a starter and most likely his last. We got him from Argentina and he had more than a year to adapt to Europe and the footy here, but he's still lacking alot basics.
What was really shocking were the experienced players who basically gave up and didn't bother. But in the end, it had no real meaning. Still leaves kind of a bitter taste, if you look at other teams pushing through like Bayern (ye they still got the cup and CL games).
By R436 Go To PostIt amazes me that the FA Cup matches aren't all free to air, given the circumstances.
Only reason we’re playing in the first place is money lol
In the most hilarious piece of news of the day, Benfica are trying to get Pochettino.
It won't happen, this is an election year for Benfica, things are very shaky and the President is just trying to give the impression that he is trying to get a big name for manager.

By Plasma Go To PostTierney and Kolasinac in the same side, so one of them is playing at CB?Yeah, looks like a back 5 to me.
Yesterday's game finished off the careers of Mata and Lingard at United. We may be stuck with them as they're on big wages, but they'll never start big games unless there's an injury crisis. Mata doesn't gave the athleticism to play to play in a team that specialises in counterattacking football. Lingard does, but has seemingly forgot how to play football. Can't pass, dribble or shoot.
Afternoon, lads.
By Plasma Go To PostOzil's done his back in lol.
