Sunderland asking fans to pay for next years tickets while saying they won't be refunded if they aren't allowed to attend lmao. Scum club.
Are your finances in a state where they genuinely have no option?
Either way it's unacceptable obviously

Fuck knows. He has lied since the day he took over. The fans have no idea if we're on the brink of going under or not.
They took a £9m loan from an American investment company late last year. Apparently if they can't pay it back, that investment company will take control of the club. Whether they will try and take it on or just sell the assets/land off... we don't know either.
Just a thick layer of fog around every single aspect of the club at the moment.

Sounds like what happened to Milan iirc
Not great but they've ended up essentially bottoming out and running within their means, which is presumably better than the alternative.
Can't be sure what the company taking over has planned though. I guess the fear is that you're stuck between an incompetent board now, and a potential asset strip and folding if they leave?

First day of the return of the league ends with a bit of a surprise. Porto lost away to Famalicão 2-1 and could lose the first place to Benfica tomorrow.
