By inky Go To PostNo, my FPL clean sheet! Fuck off
By domino Go To PostNah they looked washed under poch since the CL final tooSure. But they needed a replacement with fresh ideas and a new way to inspire the players. Mourinho is very rudimentary with his tactics and his style of man management doesn't inspire anymore.

So much of this team needed to be cycled out over the last 3 years
Think it’s a perfect storm of shit, really. It was probably time for Pochettino to go (considering they didn’t get enough new blood in, he’d reached the end of his influence with this squad), but it wasn’t the right hire to get Mourinho, the squad needs new bodies, you’ve got the finances of the stadium hanging over you... tough stuff.
Think there’s still some real quality in the squad, but defence in particular needs a huge job on it.
By Cleff Go To PostSheff Utds first win since the restart.Bournemouth next.

By NinjaFridge Go To PostIf they got Pocket Tuna back in would it even work?I'd love to see him back, but you and I know that it just won't work with some of the current mob there. Need a few new faces there.
Mourinho's having the same problems with defensive organisation that he had at United. Used to be that you'd expect his side's to be well organised and hard to break down. Hasn't been the.case in years.
I’d keep Lloris, Sanchez, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Alli, Kane, Son, Bergwijn, Lucas, Winks, Sessegnon. Everyone else either spent or not good enough.

Bournemouth (h), A. Villa (a), Southampton (h), C. Palace (a), West Ham (h).Man Utd are finishing 3rd.

That Kane VAR'd goal is infuriating. Just don't see how they could come to the conclusion that Lucas had any involvement in where that ball ended up for Kane to control and strike.
Spurs should maybe consider Marco Silva. Still believe he's a capable motivator of talent, which is exactly what Mourinho apparently is not any longer.

WWDDWD for the rest of the season I reckon. Palace our biggest threat remaining.

All the pomp should just be saved for when the stadiums are full imo, just doesn't look right otherwise. If that means no guard of honour, and a trophy lift with players who haven't even been here this season, so be it.

Lift the trophy with FIFA 20 noises.

By Yurtlicious Go To Postwhat happened to City this season? That's a staggering gap for a Pep teamLaporte got a long term injury, and Stones/Otamendi are banter tier players.
By inky Go To PostLaporte got a long term injury, and Stones/Otamendi are banter tier players.what that's it? You'd think defenders wouldn't matter that much in a tiki taka side

They also averaged 99 points over two seasons. Not a huge surprise if they’re a little burnt out too.
By Yurtlicious Go To Postwhat that's it? You'd think defenders wouldn't matter that much in a tiki taka sideWell, you could also point to Fernandinho's decline and having to play CB, reducing his effectiveness in midfield (due to the above reasons), and none of his fullbacks have come through either. And the lad Ole did the double over him, but that's just icing on the cake.
By Yurtlicious Go To Postwhat that's it? You'd think defenders wouldn't matter that much in a tiki taka sideHis injury has cost them at least 10 points this season probably, and we've just not dropped enough points for City to get away with that. Timing of the matches between us has proved to be bad for them too. The first one was late enough to give us a huge lead when we won it, and they would have liked this one to come much earlier in the second half of the season to see if they could put a dent in our run.
