“Football in England changed with that Southampton team of 2013-14, there is no other team that had as big an impact in changing the mindset,” Pochettino says.🤯🤯🤯

“At Espanyol, we were the first coaching staff who started to teach exercises to bring the ball out from the back,” he says. “The facts are there. Just watch any game from around 2010 and 2011, the ball is played out from the goal. When previously it was always hit long. We started with that, and many people are a bit surprised. Everyone talks of Barcelona, Madrid, Milan. No, no, it was Espanyol
just watch any game from 2010 two years after pep started at barcelona and you will see we started it

Took 8 years for them to apologise to Evra btw and that only after Carragher did so himself on MNF.
According to Miggy D, United's top targets are Grealish and Sancho. They also want Upamecano, but realise it's a hard deal to make so their backup is Joe Rodon of Swansea.
Also monitoring Sterling. Apparently he's considering leaving if City's CL ban is upheld. But he's more likely to go to one of the Spanish two.

Yep. If there’s one place where anti-racism statements don’t work it’s football. Far too much tribalism, far too much hypocrisy. Just look at the Twitter responses to every single player that posted this image.
Complete waste of time.
If we keep Pogba, I don’t really see the need for Grealish; that gametime should go to Gomes, Chong and Greenwood, especially now Ighalo’s here for a few more months. Gimme Sancho and a CB tho.

Bringing in a third makes compete sense to me. Especially given the lack of certainty on where Pogbas long term future lies. If we can get Grealish for a reduced fee this summer I think we should go for it.

Honestly I don't think Liverpool will sign him this year. FSG just aren't fronting £53m in this climate. Hope we do a Keita deal for next year but I'd be surprised if Werner really does hold off.
Speaking of Keita, I was watching a compilation of his dribbling skills and was amused that it was pretty much all Leipzig.
