Uhhhh how the fuck does that happen?
Turner with a positive huh? Interesting.
Of every one to celebrate he deserves it the most. Was a rock for years.
I still can't believe it

I'll be following this Turner situation closely. How on earth did he get to play with that testing situation?
Feels good, man. It's been a long time since I was running circles in my living room with an oversized plastic batting helmet celebrating a World Series win.

The Comish last night seemed puzzled a stadium of die hard dodger fans would boo him. I wonder

Gonna be interesting to see which teams are willing to touch George Springer in free agency this offseason.

According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, MLB instructed clubs in a memo last week "to proceed under the assumption" that the designated hitter will not be used in the National League next year.
This nugget was revealed as part of Rosenthal's notes column on Monday. It came within the greater context of a question of roster size and how it might be impacted by the Rule 5 Draft. MLB implemented the DH in the NL this year due to COVID-19, an effort aimed at reducing the workload on starting pitchers. The uncertainty over the situation has cast a large shadow over the early part of the offseason, as a number of free agents could see their markets slashed in half. Nelson Cruz stands out the most, but Marcell Ozuna could also factor in here. Similarly, a team like the Mets could alter their offseason plans with both Pete Alonso and Dominic Smith in-house. There's always the chance something is negotiated which keeps the DH in the NL β the players certainly wouldn't mind that β but the owners would have to get something in return, with expanded playoffs one obvious possibility.

Fucking Jays management is useless. Failing to get all the supposed βtargetsβ. Mets barely gave away anything substantial for Lindor AND Carrasco.
So the Yankees came to terms with DJ LeMahieu, thank fucking god. There was some asshat on MLB radio on the weekends talking about how DJ doesn't fix the Yankees problems, and I'm like, you dipshit? You do realize that losing DJ creates problems? Jesus fucking Christ, that dude.
(This "asshat" is not horrible, per se, but he seemed to always have bad takes on this particular player. Same dude was downplaying him two years ago, saying he wouldn't hit outside of Coors Field. Meanwhile, he only went on to win a batting title in New York while also being the Yankees' best and most dependable player and finished in the top 4 of the AL MVP vote both years.)
Yeah, the Yankees have problems, but DJ isn't one. DJ covers up for many of their problems. They don't have enough left handed hitting, they have shit for a catcher, they need more starting pitching. Yes, that's all true. But you bring back LeMahieu and then figure out who else on the roster can be tossed aside, but DJ ain't the one.
In other news, they also came to terms with Aaron Judge on a one year deal to avoid arbitration (stay healthy, brah), and also seemed to have reached a deal with Corey Kluber, which, if he can remain healthy, can help the SP issue.

lmao Jays still haven't done shit. Fucking hell. We've got the richest ownership by far in baseball and Shapiro and co. still acting like they're managing Cleveland. What a joke.
Frankman, please.

What in the goddamn hell possesses dudes to send unsolicited pictures of dicks to women. I just don't understand it.
I love how the president of baseball ops person is like "we're reviewing it." Fuck that bullshit, what in god's name is there to review? Kick this dipshit to the curb and find someone with a fucking clue.
