Whats standard issue pistol over there? I get guns are guns but cops either need none lethal fire or a .22 or similar. Like I get you're never going to unarm the police but there has to be way to have less fatalities
I believe it's a Glock 22 with .40 caliber. Cops when they draw their gun and shoot are looking to stop the individual. Whether they die or live is not really a concern.

def recommend it. i'm usually morbidly curious when there's video but even just reading some of the tweets where folks transcribe dialogue in the video is enough for me.
I have no desire to see anyone killed for any reason. I stay away from watching or listening to that stuff as much as possible because it just makes my life worse. I don't need that video to understand the gravitas of what happened. The text is enough for me.

its fucking wild to me this kind of stuff is readily shoveled onto people like commercials for a thriller movie. one of my offices had signs up, barriers, etc letting anyone who might stroll by that 'noxious material' was something they'd be exposed to from that point on. and if that wasn't enough, there was regular mental health check ins, mandatory time off, counselor sessions, etc to make sure people could properly cope with and process what they consumed. and that it wouldn't effect too much their lives outside of the workplace - because you don't unsee anything really.
then you got these news outlets.... WATCH UNARMED TEEN KILLED. LIVE.
its deliberate what they're doing to people. you may not remember what talking head said what anymore, but you'll remember some trauma. keep tuning in for a resolution.

Man, I don't know what people are expecting. When you strip away the lies, delusions, misdirection, and bells and whistles, the upper class is left maintaining their status solely through violent enforcement. They still require an unaccountable sectarian force to abuse and murder the lower classes without applied restrictions. That hasn't been addressed societally outside of the aforementioned propaganda and cultural suppression. A high-profile demonstration against that precedent might very well do some lasting damage, and I'm pretty sure they don't want to take the time to figure out a new system when this one works so well for them
