if he was part of blowing a lead like that all signs point to yes.

I'm interested in seeing how thew NFL handles this, and by handles this I mean fucks everything up beyond recognition.
FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the league notified the Titans, Steelers, Vikings, and Texans that it may be forced to reschedule both contests for Week 4.
The league reportedly told the Steelers to proceed with game preparations against the Titans, which were forced to shut down its facilities until Saturday following eight new positive tests among the organization. Minnesota's facitilites, which provided 0 positive tests as of Tuesday afternoon, were also evacuated until further notice. The NFL is still discussing plans for postponement which include pushing both games to Monday/Tuesday night or rescheduling bye weeks to assist with games in Weeks 7 and 8. All ideas are on the table.

it's been interesting watching Titans games w/ KC in mind. I think we have the firepower to keep up w/ them with some good breaks in our favor, but not the balls to just let it all out.
Field position doesn’t matter when you’re playing against Kansas City. Teams have punted to the Chiefs 130 times since Mahomes became their quarterback. Fifty-seven of the ensuing drives have ended in a touchdown (43.8 percent). That’s more than double the league average (21.6 percent). No other team has scored a touchdown on even 30 percent of drives after opposing punts. (The Saints are in second place at 28.4.) The Chiefs’ average drive length after a punt is 48.3 yards, almost 10 full yards better than anybody else. They’re actually more likely to score a touchdown after a punt than they are to have any possible non-scoring outcome; if you add up all of the punts, turnovers, missed field goals, blocked punts, safeties, and ends of halves that have followed punts to the Chiefs in this sample, you only get 51. That bears repeating: Even when opponents have punted to Kansas City, kicking the ball as far from the end zone as possible in an attempt to prevent touchdowns, Mahomes has been more likely to respond with a touchdown than by not scoring at all for his entire young career.

The Patriots' Week 4 game against the Chiefs has been rescheduled to Monday or Tuesday. As expected. So far no other Pats or Chiefs have tested positive but tomorrow's tests will be key.
The league will postpone the game until both teams pass COVID-19 testing. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Tuesday is the more likely day for the game to be played. As of now, the game will be played in the Week 4 slate, but fantasy managers need to be making backup plans just in case.
Profootballtalk reports FB Mike Burton is the Saints player who tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday evening.
The Saints will now re-test seven additional players who were either identified as close contacts or sat next to Burton on the plane. PFT reports that one of them is Alvin Kamara. Burton has played 61 snaps through three games. If by some miracle Saints/Lions goes ahead as scheduled on Sunday, Kamara will need a different lead blocker.
Profootballtalk reports the Saints are re-testing Alvin Kamara for COVID-19 after he sat next to FB Michael Burton, who has reportedly tested positive, on the team plane.
PFT's Mike Florio reports seven players, who originally all tested negative, are getting re-tested following Burton's reported positive. It is unknown how early the results will come back, but it figures to be early Sunday morning. Just like New England/Kansas City, New Orleans/Detroit is in grave danger of being postponed to Monday or Tuesday, or perhaps beyond. It is easier said than done at this juncture, but start planning on Saints/Lions alternatives.
ProFootballTalk: A soft bubble was doomed to fail the NFL
The NFL’s experience with COVID-19 unfolded, as one source explained it to PFT late Saturday, like an average golfer who somehow managed to finagle a par on each of he first three holes of the course. Despite the early success, a triple-bogey was always inevitable.
The triple-bogey has now arrived.
The outbreak in Tennessee, followed by potential outbreaks with the Patriots and Saints, show that a soft bubble was never going to work. Every night, with every team, roughly 170 players, coaches, and essential staff go home. “That’s 170 different stories,” as one source put it. “Every night.”
It was inevitable that those 170 people per team eventually would, while away from the facility, get exposed to the virus, either by going somewhere they shouldn’t have gone (e.g., the Raiders) — or simply by living with someone who was exposed to the virus at work, school, the store, etc.
That’s why a soft bubble was never going to work. And that’s why the only way to save the 2020 NFL season is to pull all teams in a hard local bubble, keeping everyone critical to the operation in a hotel so that those 170 stories won’t play out, night after night when the players, coaches, and other employees go home, potentially get exposed to the virus, and then return to work.
The NFL has been willing to create 32 hard bubbles. The NFL Players Association has not been willing to do it. Unless the NFLPA changes its position immediately, games will be lost, game checks will be forfeited, and the season potentially will be stopped dead in its tracks.
Saints FB Mike Burton and RB Alvin Kamara returned negative COVID-19 tests as did all other Saints players.
This means their game versus the Lions will play as scheduled. Burton returned a positive test last night and came into close contact with seven players prior to the test. Burton himself returned a negative test this morning meaning his first as a false positive. All other Saints returned negative results this morning as well. A positive test for Burton likely would have canceled their matchup with Detroit. Keep Kamara and Kenny Golladay safely in your lineups now that the Saints' scare is over.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that all Patriots players returned negative COVID-19 tests on Sunday morning.
Barring any setbacks, Kansas City and New England will square off on Monday night. Tuesday night was considered but Schefter added that Monday was the most likely option. Kansas City also needs to return a clean set of tests as Jordan Ta'amu, a quarterback on their practice squad, returned a positive test earlier in the week. The Patriots will travel to Kansas City without Cam Newton, whose positive test spurred the move to Monday night. Bryan Hoyer will likely serve as the starter for New England.
