Last throw of the dice for me. Instead of Inviting me through the PS4, just create the room and post its name here. And I will try and join that way. It may be that the invitation system is playing with my ability to directly connect.

"Unable to join session" is all I get now, for no apparent reason. The thing is I can still play other people who are not on my friends list just fine.

Delete me from the friends list and create the room and post it may also be an option.

Otherwise, after this weekend if it's not fixed. I will forfeit, and not take part in anymore tournaments until I can connect with more success. Last tournament I actually managed to play some of you.
Zabo,Rikkun,Dean,Nathan,LFM, Bla and a few others, this time I could only play LFM.

Is there a particular reason why you won't buy a new router and see if it fixes your problem, FF? I know you're not poor, so ...

There is no return policy on these things, once they are opened at least. So me paying 250 dollars for a router to find that it does not help would be a bit overkill.

I have tried everything, I visited the lands of legend, NAT2. Tried port forwarding all the ports required, including PSN, PES2015 and various other ports recommended online. I put the PS4 into the DMZ, no luck. The PS4 has a static IP of course as well. I restarted the router a million times, changed ethernet cables, switched the ports etc.

Deleted PES2015 from the PS4 and re-downloaded the patch.

I just don't like that I was able to connect and play with some of you on a consistent basis, but now I can not. That is what annoys me. On my end I changed nothing, unless the ISP is messing about with my connection.

I called them to sort this out, and they said "Pay $150 so we can look into the problem in regards to the router which we have provided".

This weekend I will go through each setting, and try and find a solution, I will also re-initialize the PS4 to see if that helps at all.

I am back to NAT3 now, but suddenly am able to actually access MyClub mode, which never worked before. It's like there is a madridista living in my PS4.

Btw here is my router model, it's quite shitty tbf.

Can the set of rules for port forwarding an application interfere with another set of port forwarding rules?
Maybe instead of using all 3 sets of rules on the same device I just apply one of them.

FF, routers are like current smartphones. Every decent one will get the job done. With premium ones you're paying for bells and whistles you most likely have no real need for. I've been rocking a Netgear WNDR3700 for a couple of years now. You can flash it with the custom (and amazing) DD-WRT firmware and it works brilliantly. I reset it once every couple of months just because, not because I actually need to, that's how stable it is. Anyway, the point being the price. You can get it for as low as 40-50€ on eBay. Hell, you could find a good old Linksys WRT54G already flashed with DD-WRT for 10-20$, just to see if it's the router that is actually causing you grief. For that kind of money, it's well worth the hassle, imo.

Forget about port forwarding, if you've already tried putting PS4's IP into DMZ. If that didn't work, neither will port forwarding. Have you tried this? Loool, I love how the guy calls it shit at one point.

EDIT: Wow, this modem/router seems to be an absolute shithouse. It look like the only way to make it behave like a normal router is to unlock it and gain root access, so you can disable "Extended security" and some other stuff that's basically acting as a firewall. It's not exactly the simplest of tasks, but it's not rocket science either. This guy has a good instruction video on it. I'd definitely recommend trying that before buying a new router.

Prinny, you were amazing. I was very impressed with the way you defended and moved the ball around. Really tough games for me. Villarreal have some pretty terrible stamina, need to learn to take it easy on the sprint with these teams.

Match 1, I went up 2 nil and was cruising, but Prinny made an epic comeback and equalized with roughly 15 minutes to go. Then right toward the end I scored the winner.

Match 2, Prinny dominated this one I felt, I could not get going. I scored an own goal right before half time and that was it. Until the last 10 minutes where by some miracle I managed to score 2 goals in quick succession to steal victory from Prinny.

I'll put up the goal scorers in 10 minutes.

The better player won FF. You dominated me in the first match and I always rush with the last pass and I payed that in the second.

With that said I was pretty frustrated with that two quick goals at the end of the second, but you got your chances and didn't wasted them.

Really great matches all around.
