Sturridge is sidelined with his 15th injury since joining Liverpool, and has started less than half of the games in that same time period.
Obviously doesn't eat his greens.

By deroli Go To Post30M sounds way too good to be true. At that price, selling Gündogan is a no-brainer, even if Nürnberg gets a portion of the sum. Maaaybe with added bonuses (winning the EPL, CL final etc.) such an amount might be possible.I can get you exactly what you need, m8. Walker (RB), Capoue (DM), Paulinho (CM), Adebayor (ST).
With Gündogan leaving, Kehl retiring and Bender as well as Sahin both spending more time on the VIP stand than the pitch, we need several new CM/ DM players next season. Castro and Geis seem to be the most feasible transfer targets. Hopefully no Khedira, too prone for injuries and too expensive.
Yes, this summer will definitely be a turning point for us. Next on the list: A new goalie (Horn?), a full back (???) and maybe a striker (Volland). It's nice to dream.
....
What's that laugh for?
By Cleff Go To PostScum pls. I'm in the library at uni studying for my finals. Besides its 10 pm on a Friday and we're re-establishing the fat bastard tradition at United. It's a joyous day.Studying anything interesting?
Didn't really want Gundogan anyway. Much rather Schneiderlin or Kondogbia. Praying next season will be the one where Wilshere will finally play more than a handful of games. We get 2-3 good signings this summer. We will be in contention for the league. GK, CM and LB or wide forward. Get rid of the dross Podolski, Campbell, Diaby, Flamini, Rosicky can probably leave or retire also, I'd also let Gibbs go if we get a good offer and can find a replacement.
By Ricky Go To PostCan you imagine being excited for Gundogan
2 years ago.
By Pele.gif Go To PostIf Wenger sign Kondogbia and a goalkeeper i'll be satisfied.Think we might need more, but this is the bare minimum. Really want Podolski's wages off the books. Hope we can get Walcott to agree a deal also I'd rather re-sign him than spend 40m on Sterling or whatever Liverppol will demand.
By nate Go To PostGundogan with our injury record looooooooooooooooooolMate put him in our Toshiba oven and cook him medium rare
Good to go
So we're going to spend big on a striker this summer. I think Brett Omerod would be more effective than Balotelli was.
Seems like a mostly poor deal for United at this point, but I don't care, not my issue. If he turns out good and all he can help the national team.
Bayern need another CB and to offload Dante. We also need a new RB unless Pep puts Lahm back in his spot.
We'll need some younger wingers to inevitably replace Robben and Ribery too, but that's not as vital. Maybe a second striker to supplement Lewa or something.

By Yen Go To PostStudying anything interesting?Basically how the Sunningdale Agreement through to the Good Friday agreement led to a change in the landscape of Irish Law and how society functioned in it. I think its interesting anyway. Can't imagine many others would.
By nate Go To PostHummels. Clyne. Gundogan. Schneiderlin. Bale. Depay. Welbeck.Blasphemy. Welbz is that Gooner.
The year of Gallah.
Gaal says De Gea has been offered a very lucrative contract to stay at United, but the player is the boss in this situation. Doesn't sound very hopeful. Media speculate its around 150k per week.

I could sell Welbz back if you want.

Meant to be doing an essay on devolution myself for Wednesday but haven't even started the reading for it - weather has been too good.
Isn't Origi due back to Liverpool next season?
£12m - £15m for Cech, innit, or £50m for Lloris.

Prinny, could you DM De Gea and remind him of his roots so he doesn't betray them thanks
Serious tho if Gundogan can get himself back to past levels it's a brilliant signing. Was incredible from 2011-13.
Carrick, Gundogan, Fellaini and Herrera is a good selection of midfielders (as well as Blind and ADM who can also play there as well as other positions).

By Scum Go To PostIsn't Origi due back to Liverpool next season?Aye. But surely we're losing two of Lambert/Balotelli/Borini (and Sterling?)
Honestly Man United could very well win the league next year. Gaal has got them playing well and they are in financial position to fix all their issues. Their squad needs a lot less work than City's for example.

Best case scenario
De Gea (Valdes)
Clyne (Valencia)
Smalling (Jones)
Hummels (McNair)
Shaw (Rojo)
Carrick (Blind)
Gundogan (???)
Herrera (Fellaini)
Mata (Januzaj)
Rooney (van Persie/Wilson)
Di Maria (Depay/Young)
Four or five signings in key positions and I think we have a really good squad. Big if though; lose DDG and we need to have a real think about that position. Valdes is fine on paper tbh, think he's better than Lloris.

I think next year it will be between Chelsea, Arsenal and United.
City 4th.

By wedward Go To PostWenger isn't going to buy another player when we currently have Ramsey, Santi and Jack who can all play that position.
Still want Schneiderlin. Don't think he will improve us a great deal because Coq has been so good, but we need more options deep.
Wilshere is the only one of those three who really has the qualities to control a game from deep and I'm watching him put on Ross Barkley impressions in U21 games. Heartbreaking tbh.
I don't really know what we'll do this summer. Cech (by far the player I want most) and a DM would be a dream (maybe a top LB too if we get those done early), but you could easily see neither positions being covered.

Januzaj is dead. Van Persie is also dead. Wilson will be sent out on loan and Lloris will join PSG for £40m after Lyon win Ligue 1.

Same. Cech and Schneiderlin would be a perfect summer for me.
Cech, Schneiderlin and Reus is what I am expecting.

Schneiderlin is definitely moving this summer. Can only really see him going to either Arsenal or United. Tottenham have no chance now.

Yeah, but the price is just astounding.
30m for a player who is FAR from his old level and got 1 ! year of contract left.
Good for Dortmund though, we got two-three classy players for that price.

We need to improve in more or less every position apart from GK which is where we are probably going to be weaker.

Come back last summer, give me Depay and Schneiderlin. Give me hope.
Fuck it, give me a squad without Kaboul, Adebayor, and Capoue.

Still nothing from Ogden or Ladyman. Can't get hype until then. The usual questioning of reports is now underway in the British media. Although they didn't get a whiff of the Herrera transfer until it was already sorted...
Still think he'll end up at somewhere like Juve. They have a big list of every half decent player whose contract is running out.
