I'll miss Burnley when they get relegated
Hopefully they use the PL money and parachute payment to bolster their squad, and get promoted again with a deeper squad to stay up next time.

Kyoufu is well into video games isn't he
They should have done that when they got promoted. But everyone they bought was championship or deserves to be championship.

Was under the impression that they kept the promotion money in the bank for future security
The press is so fucking bonkers.
We can't pay for Weiser.
And we should have no interest in Weiser.
He's a good kid, but pls no. We've had enough Matic's. We don't need more.

I swear I don't know what they mean when they say pregnant women are more beautiful than under normal circumstances. I don't see it.
Is this a thing where only the dad can see it or what?

looks like he rejected the offer. He's free agent in the summer tho
By Elchele Go To Post:lolGood thing. Don't need to be wasting money on more players to develop and then sell back to the original club.

Need to spend LESS money to get rid of all this fucking debt.
Genius economists these fuckers.

All nominal fees I think. Completely forgot Sordell existed :P
They essentially trusted the team that got them up to keep them up, with the assumption that they'd be relegated and stronger as a club for the experience, on solid footing for another push and even more financial security to make the purchases necessary to make survival more likely. I find that admirable for some reason.
I agree though that PL wages for players who aren't even trusted to step in for exhausted players is problematic

By Hitch Go To PostSign Hargreaves once, fool on you. Sign him again, fool on you.Hargreaves was instrumental in the Champions League win in 08. Granted, that's all he did but still.
If only Hargreaves and King weren't so injury prone. 😧

But, seriously, we're getting Mihajlovic, for better or worse. Klopp, I suppose, remains a ludicrously improbable option, but Mihajlovic seems like all but a certainty at this point. I haven't even seen Bielsa rumors for us in the past month or two.

Zamparini is my kind of cunt:
Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini says he ‘hopes’ to sell ‘new Messi’ Paulo Dybala to Napoli.
The Argentinian striker has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs, with Juventus believed to be in pole position for his signature, but the Rosanero patron says the Partenopei are in the hunt too.
“Napoli in for Dybala? It’s true,” Zamparini told Radio Crc.
“[President Aurelio] De Laurentiis spoke to me personally, and it’s likely they’ll improve the team, even without being in the Champions League.
“The Napoli President has called me, I’ll meet him soon, but there’s mutual respect and a deep friendship between us.
“It’s clear that the relationship I have with Aurelio is special, and I hope he can take Dybala, because he’s the new [Lionel] Messi.”
Zamparini also discussed the Vesuviani's fortunes in the Europa League, and believes they can win the competition.
"Napoli deserve to be in the Champions League, and the Europa League can be seen as a route to that, as it's become very difficult in the League.
"Napoli's squad is strong enough that they can think about winning the competition."
