Its up to us to become good enough to keep players like him around on the odd occasion we have them, and even then the likes of Barca will always be more appealing unless they're British
Puts in 100% every game, gave me some of the best moments I've had watching football even if it didn't lead to trophies, and tbh he outgrew us just as he did Groningen and Ajax before. He's an elite player, and deserves to be playing for an elite club showing the world how good he is in the later stages of the CL.
There's a lot about him that I didn't like, disciplinary and exit-seeking, but I still love the cunt.
I this isn't an original statement, but the fact the Messi scores so many goals really overshadows the fact that he's the best passer of the ball the game has seen too. He's just the best at everything going forward.

Never really seen him do long passes but that probably has more to do with the fact he is a forward so doesn't get the chance to do long range.
