By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostI was watching The Following and 30 minutes away from Pogba returning, when I decided to do my plank exercise for the day. So I got my phone for the timer that was in the bathroom and then while halfway through a message pops up with my friend saying "I am round the corner, sure you still don't want a pint?"
Well 7 hours later I had lost my glasses, smashed my phone in two, went from getting a date with a hot 24 y.o to blowing it because I wanted her to come back to mine, destroyed some guys bike, and tried to run away from the cops before being caught by the cops.

Thought Crespo was a legend when I was young.
Just had a bollocks exam, definitely failed. Although seemed like loads of others did shit too so maybe they'll just pass us all. The lecturer has been investigated before. My only hope now.
Not even the good CL match on tonight :(

Pretty sure he didn't play for Copenhagen m8... and I was too focused on the penis to see anything.
ach, why do my stupid friends keep on having birthdays?
Gotta go out tonight. At least they'll have the game running, but I so prefer watching at home, undisturbed. Tonight I am probably not missing much, but still. Have fun tonight, footy-slaent. Especially Bayern-Slaent if at all possible.

In fairness when you support 8 teams can be tricky to keep track of them all.

I thought that about Recoba for some reason.
Edit: He's still playing? Christ.

The Danish Abramovic, stealing from the government at home, to be a sugar daddy in some third world country.

By Gambit Go To Postach, why do my stupid friends keep on having birthdays?I've got an uncharacteristically optimistic attitude about this game. The confidence and motivation the players showed talking yesterday and the days prior seem to show a sort of desire that can't generally be faked, though that's the Bayern way really. Rumors about Neuer and Thiago's fitness aren't bothering me too much, I'm severely hopeful for one of the greatest comebacks in sports.

UK'ers, did any of you ever trade in a mobile phone at CEX? I just discovered they exist here too now and I was wondering if they just buy any working phone or if you need to have the charger etc. as well.

Not even ashamed. It is a lot of hard work. Especially here. Due to timezones and football timesI had to sleep 2 hours at work today.

By Vivalabanter Go To PostIngs for Liverpool makes sense for them because he's going to be relatively cheap and should be able to chip in with a few goals but I don't see him playing much for them.
They're going to buy somebody else surely, a "marquee" centre forward. Then you have Sturridge and Origi…unless they're switching to 2 up front I can't see how everyone gets enough games.
He will probably take the move, it's a good chance for him. But he'd play more at Spurs, plus Bungie loves him.
Think Origi plays on the flank a lot, and it's safe to assume that Sturridge won't be available very often. And Rodgers has shown in the past that he's not averse to playing 2 up front if we have 2 strikers who deserve to start.
Don't expect anything from Origi this season tbh in terms of end product, so Sturridge/Ings/Origi isn't enough. Add a dash of Bentekkers though, and that's a very good choice of strikers imo.

How confident are you that FSG will sanction £30m for Benteke - considering they were hesitant to put the money down for Bony last season?
I'd have thought they would have to go for it now, but Rodgers has been saying stuff about how the clubs policy won't change etc (I know that this could be read as him putting pressure on FSG but just taking it at face value here).
Sportmediaset saying Juve got Dybala for €32m+€8m bonus. If true, holy Zamparini. Smart to use Milan as a way to force Juve to raise their bid, just like Roma had to do for Iturbe.

Neuer and Thiago are certainly fine btw.
Hope we'll see a lovely game, maybe even with a acceptable result.

By Vivalabanter Go To PostHow confident are you that FSG will sanction £30m for Benteke - considering they were hesitant to put the money down for Bony last season?I think they have to, and if they don't they're being borderline negligent. We have issues elsewhere, but its so blatantly obvious that we're missing a suitable striker. I think that the money they make available for that position will probably decline and decline though, as our targets go elsewhere. Just want to get Benteke or someone done early even if we overpay for it.
I'd have thought they would have to go for it now, but Rodgers has been saying stuff about how the clubs policy won't change etc (I know that this could be read as him putting pressure on FSG but just taking it at face value here).
How much that would leave for the 2+ fullbacks, DM, GK and CM that we need, who knows. Thankfully most of the players we need in those positions are backups who shouldn't cost much, and getting Johnson's wages off the book could essentially be the same as receiving a transfer fee for him since he's overpaid so much.
This has to be the last chance for the committee to prove that they can work from FSG's perspective (I'd have binned the idea off already personally). If they fuck it up again, they'll either need replacing, or we'll need to move to a more traditional setup.
Having all summer to plan for any contingency, with £100m+ to spend, and ending up signing Balotelli in a panic? That is a damning indictment of the way our committee works.
Hyped for Witcher 3 even though I haven't bought it yet. Trying to see if I can score a code from Amazon for my 970 purchase, even though I purchased the card in February lol.
Will get TW3 when I've cleared my backlog a bit, looks great

I'm surprised about Alaba making the team of the season, but I'm impressed either way. I misjudged Pep's decision to move him into the midfield, seeing how well he'd done as a LB, but he did quite well until he was injured. I think I am ok with him staying there when he comes back.
Transfer-wise, the top rumors for Bayern targets this summer are: Griezmann, Lacazette, Felipe Anderson, Brahimi, and Di Maria as of yesterday. Probably a bit too much cost-wise, unless we offloaded Gotze or something, but I could probably be satisfied with most on that list.

I will get there in August.
Let's be honest, if not for the fee they paid for him, Madrid would have no reason to keep Bale around next year. Just doesn't look like he and they will work out. Not played particularly well this season, doesn't speak any Spanish apparently (probably bullshit though, I'm sure he started lessons as soon as he moved there), fans don't like him at all, seems very distant from his teammates, especially Ronaldo and he honestly seems to be in a bit of a downward spiral.
Bad performances are leading to jeers, sulks and further bad performances. He'll be fucking boss again once he leaves, guaranteed. Just needs to find a club where his ability can speak for itself, rather than trying to find the balance between being a fucking Galactico and servant to Ronaldo.

But I don't find it hard to believe that he doesn't speak Spanish. The story that reported that said he'd been having two lessons a week or something. But he doesn't do interviews in Spanish and it's not really that hard to get by when you're in the position he is without speaking the local language fluently. Beckham for instance never picked it up.
