I'd rather keep Rafael/Valencia around as back up full back than have Alves, to be honest. Think he's a poor defender and his wages would be astronomical. Get Clyne sorted by the end of May pls.
Provided they all keep fit, I'm happy with Jones, Smalling, Rojo and McNair as four centre backs, with one purchase to be made. Hummels ideally; as much as I like what I've seen of Laporte/Martinez they're a bit young, and I think we need the leadership. Vlaar on a free would be fine by me as well, as long as he's not the only signing.
At left back, Shaw/Blind is cool by me. Hopefully Shaw's luckier in terms of fitness.
In the middle, hopefully the Gundogan rumours are true, but we need someone else as well. Pogba is a pipe dream; Nainggolan I think would be a lot cheaper and more realistic. Can't think of anyone else off the top of my head right now; would love Schneiderlin, really like McCarthy. Any two of those four (including Gundogan) would be swell.
Wide, Depay/Young and Mata/Januzaj are good options even if we presume Di Maria is off. If not, even better.

Heres the thing I dont know, I dont know if we got better midfielders whether our current crop of strikers would turn in big numbers or whether we need another striker in addition to those new midfielders.
