By Fintan Go To PostBabadook was quite good, I thought. It wasn't super scary or anything, but it was enjoyable. The lead performance was great and there were some really nice touches like the bits with the TV.
That much is true.
By Sviatoslav Go To PostHe also made some amazing saves. Weird.
Really? After seeing the goals I find it difficult to believe. I mean an armless grandma would have done better there.

oh; some TV gubbins.
Safe House on ITV (yes I know). Some top tier brooding from Christopher Ecclestone. Good little thriller, recommend a gander seeing as there is sod all else at the moment.
Italian football, I kept the faitj and you are rewarding me. Well until everyone gets knocked out in the semis at least.
All I'm watching at the moment is Mad Men and Veep. Both great.
Watching Seinfeld for the first time too. Getting consistently good now that I'm into season 3 and 4. Think I prefer Curb overall so far because Larry is the GOAT.

I absolutely loved Babadook, the lead was just magnificent and at least it had a decent/touching story to tell unlike 99% of horror movies

Costanza is based on Larry, enjoy.
What the fuck is it with CDPR and their ridiculous inability to put their videos in non-garbage places.
Got a letter from the Sunderland Church of Scientology yesterday. It genuinely surprised me that was an actual thing. I wonder how many people attend it.

I dunno, m8. It was never really shown on TV over here, so I ended up seeing all of Curb before Seinfeld (apart from 1 or 2 episodes.)
Downloaded all of the Larry Sanders Show the other day. Anyone seen it? Worth a watch?

Need to get back into Veep. Enjoyed what I've seen but never hooked me or made me chuckle as much as TTOI.
I said there is bugger all on but No Offence starts week tuesday. First original UK series from Paul Abbott (the fucking GOAT) in more than a decade. Very much looking forward to that.

Avengers 2 is a much better movie than the first one, but suffers from the fact that everyone wants to see Thanos. The whole thing feels a little less epic than its predecessor.
Will definitely hold up in multiple viewings better though.
Right now my top 5 is Captain America: Winter Soldier > Avengers 2 > Avengers 1 > Guardians > Iron Man 3

Curb is better imo but Seinfeld is still gr8. As is Friends. I don't know why people have to always pick one and hate the other. lol

Chicharito is only 26.....?????
what the fucking fuck..
Chicharito should to like Southampton or something. A good midtable club that will give him good playing time.
Just read the Telegraph article about Fabregas. After Chelsea bid on Fabregas, Barca gave Arsenal 7 days to decide if they wanted to buy him. Wenger never responded. Cesc was probably sitting by the phone waiting.
He was also offered to City and United.

Sneijder to United is the transfer rumor they just won't let die.
Anyway, I stayed up last night after work to watch the Madrid derby. I don't think either of these sides have a chance against Barca or Bayern in the semis or final. But it wasn't as terrible a game as some here made it sound. Real dominated from the outset and that was without Ronaldo doing much of anything for huge stretches of the match.
Besides making the right call on the assist, I did like this move:
Ramos and James did the business in the midfield though. With Modric on crutches, James really picked up the slack. Although it was rare, everything in attack seemingly went through him and most of the time it was a pass from Ramos to jump start it. I thought they both played really, really well together. Pogba, please don't go there.
This was nice and his runs into the box were very good.
The amount of fucks Turan gave for his bookings was hilarious.
Ronaldo not celebrating with his teammates is a nonstory (James ran to the flag himself to cheer to the supporters) but the camera will only show.....

Everyone loved him. He's great for the first half of the season. He's beautiful.
I bet he cried a little bit by the phone.
Edit: I can't wait for the draw, it is killing me inside.

But for realz I'm mainly restricted by time and what i can watch legally. Would love to watch these 21 series epics but ain't got the fucking hours. God bless British TV and our small budgets saving me time.

RM v Bayern: Rivalry Rematch
Bayern v Juve: Nothing too dramatic here
Bayern v Barca: Pep v Barca
I'd guess that either RM or Barca would be the game I'd go for in drama factors. Facing Barca over two legs may be the safer bet for us with their forwards. Though, a rematch with RM would be exciting. I don't know what I want, other than to know who we'll be facing.
RM v Barca: Classico
RM v Juve: Nothing too dramatic here
Barca v Juve: Nothing too dramatic here
Every option is terrifying for me. Don't know why everyone is writing us off though. I mean I can see it a bit better with Juve, but everyone here keeps saying we'll lose against essentially anyone we could draw, which I don't think to be the case.
1 - Bayern; 2 - Juve; 3 - Barca; 4 - RM
