I like the art style Yurt. Forests/swamps/Skelliege Isles still look very european grimy dirty fantasy opposed to the happy clappy Dragon takes an Age.
The filter in W2 didn't look great everywhere. Way over sharpened. In an open world that would sting the eyes. As with much of the game seems a good balance between 1/2.
As for the downgrade, what makes the Witcher fucking great isn't the textures on the grass. Trainspotting levels of who gives a fuck.
