If no one buys it in the first round, a new bidding will take place with the bidding starting at a 25 % lower price than the previous time. In total this will be repeated five times........so why the fuck would anyone decide to buy it now? Anyone interested is just going to wait until the final bid procedure is held.

With pretty much every amateur card artist you can savely assume they're using a trick deck if it's something really weird. Same with this guy, it's a deck you can buy from most decent magic shops and comes with instructions. The thing is though, you need to have the techniques down. For this trick you need to have a good slide of hand, that's a technique to pull out two cards at once without your audience noticing. Most people who perform card tricks will handle the cards in a rather odd way if you pay attention to it because they're busy skipping cards, taking out more than one and shuffeling the deck without you knowing it.
And what sets the good ones apart from the bad ones is the show around it. The key is to be charming and keep eye contact with your audience so people won't really see what you're doing. Obviously you also need hours and hours of practice to have the techniques down to the teeth.

I own about 15 decks of cards myself from my brief time of doing cardistry. Amongst them a Svengali deck which is also a trick deck to do a magic routine with. I never got really good with my hands as opposed to the guy on TV there. I can fool my friends with it, but it stopts there :P
