Just Lewis to me.
I'm shocked at that, was rumoured he was going to be moved upstairs at Renault/Alpine. Davide Brivio or Budkowski to replace him then.
Any serious reports in British press what the hold up is between Merc & Lewis and we do not have a new signed contact?
Seb was already bolding since the Redbull days. He just stopped pushing the hair left towards the forehead now.
This new haircut is horrible tho. Just go full Batong or go see a transplant specialist.

Transplants for the rich are basically magic at this point. He probably just hasn't accepted it yet.
Slight changes to the race weeekends, FP1 &2 shortend and we are back to fuck the us commercial breaks, so don't miss the starts.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostLewis has signed a one year deal with MercedesSurprised, not a deal, but only one year after they talked so long.
Curious to what was the problem for a longer deal, as they can start talking again for the next deal already.
Broken jaw says some geezer on twitter.
Wouldn't fancy banging a few Gs through my neck with a wired jaw if I'm honest.

And the other news from today:
sprint races back on the agenda
Engine freeze early 2022 agreed
and the follow up to that is that: RBR set to finalise deal with Honda (engine take over)

By FortuneFaded Go To PostAlonso had jaw surgeryany word on how long that would take to fully heal.
pre season starts pretty soon and he need that "tire" data
Don't know what to make of the engine freeze. Still assume that Mercedes are significantly ahead but presumably all the other teams agreed to it (though that could be for cost reasons).
McLaren to be unveiled today, at 7pm GMT.

some more high res pics of the McLaren-Mercedes MCL35M, feel this launch came out of no where. Other than floor and smaller side pots, hard to see large changes, but expect that for most cars (2 token limitation)
The cars all look the same to me anyway. There’s only few I can usually identify without the livery: Mercedes, Ferrari, probably Renault and RBR as well actually, and now Pink Mercedes.
Anyway, McLaren said they’ve actually made a lot of changes to accommodate the Mercedes PU.
“It's driven a huge amount of change and, essentially, we've been building a new car. The number of new parts on the MCL35M is about the same as when we built the MCL35.”
“The back of the chassis and gearbox bell housing around the engine have changed significantly to adapt to the new power unit.”
“Changing power unit greatly alters the architecture of the car and the way everything is packaged, so the entire cooling layout and all the pipework, be that for fluid or air, has changed, along with all electrical harnessing and control boxes.”
The real question is have they ever been quick with a bad livery? Because this one is dogshit again

Reminds me of Williams.
Looks more blue than white compared to last years livery, do like the red Honda touch on the side.
Car, based on Helmut comments during the RP saga, expected rear end to be more "borrowed" from the RBR16, but they went their own, also still a wide non caped nose. Maybe to tricky to get that right, air flow and crash test, for just one season.
Some higher res renders.
oops, link already in tweet ;)
Alfa with new nose, adjusted livery  end more power, good news for Ferrari fans

Find the 10 differences on the RBR16B.
Looks a lot like the car they ended with, thought they would use tokens on gearbox/rear, but hard to see anything on these renders.
On track with Sergio and visible rear end., but rbr15 (2019)
Checo RBR helmet:
AT02 on track:

no, but at the time you realise you have no functioning brakes there is nothing you can do anymore.
hit wall or safety barrier only choice.
