Russell's biggest L today was missing the chance for "Bono my tyre is gone"
By FortuneFaded Go To PostJust knocked £100,000,000 of Lewis's value... gon' kick back and relax...
Thinking about it, it might get worse for George, as he did a lap on iillegal tires.
Anyone heared anything about an ivnestigation?
Found it, looks like DQ :(

But a huge win finantially for Mercedes. Hammy lost a lot of value after today, good thinking from the lad Veckrot there

So full results stand:
By Lunatic Go To PostHow did Hamilton lose value? You guys do know he would have walked this race to a easy win right?Russell was walking the race too tbf with basically no experience with the car. If the Williams didnt crash, he wins it. So now Merc knows they have an option and might not throw as much money as they would before today.

I wouldn’t say he’s had no experience. He drove in Abu Dhabi last year after the end of the season. And he’s worked with the team for quite a while. So he’s not coming in completely fresh. Also I would expect driving a car with the same engine helps to an extent.
It’s impressive how well he did in this weekend, but he’s nowhere near the level Lewis is at. You don’t win a Drivers Championship with one strong performance. Mercedes know it would be a gamble to put him in the car next season, and whilst it’s probably one they would take if Lewis doesn’t renew, I think their priority is making sure they still have the best driver on the grid. And I don’t think they risk the relationship by using Russell as a pawn in negotiations.
Didn't see the Mazapin video but Haas seem strongly upset.
Not upset enough to turn down Russian oligarch money but yeah

Would give it to Geogie, but last race without the champ would suck and yes we managed to get to the finish line in this covid season. Despite the 7th year of dominance by Merc, truly enjoyed a lot of races, tracks, midfield fights and surprise winners!
Abu Dhabi is the ultimate Merc hunting ground, so should be nr 96 and nice way to finish the season.

Lewis clearly rusty or at least his front brakes were and he missed first part of session and only did run in 2nd part on hards. DannyRic could not make it one lap on his last Friday engine of the year, so the last good one will have to do one session extra. Times pointless as always, lot of new floor and aero testing for 2020 rules by some teams,

FP2:
Test tires, top 3 not able to get a full clean lap on the reds and engine manufacturers that can work-out the long levity of their power-units pretty good. Few went down last 30 minutes, Kimi's went up in flames, so red flag and no meaningful long-run data.
But looks like the last few years, up until the last few corner combo's the RBR can keep up, than their tires loose more performance than the Merc's. Midfield is often close, but cannot remember it being this close, should be fun, as the tiniest error can cost you dearly.
