Split opinion on tyres early. Wets and inters. Max struggling for grip on the inter.
Looks very tough out there
Edit : aaaand red flag

Have the drivers jump on F1 2011 and set their times on the game to determine tomorrow's grid order.
By Veckrot Go To PostVerstappen should've completed that purple-purple lap.
His later laps were faster but did look a mistake for his first lap or so on inters
By Veckrot Go To PostStroll has to go to the stewards in 10 minutes from now for ignoring yellow flags.Couldn't have a happened to a better person.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if he cops a penalty. He was bombing it past the marshalls on the track at Imola a few weeks ago. He's got prior for this kind of stuff.
I picked one hell of a session to sit in a train :P
Luckily and that was completely different in the past, F1tv and a live timing app, that you can sync, make it like you are watching it live, top job !!
Sessions it self were mega, Q1 were RBR and later Lewis looked in trouble, but all came through. Q2 more normal session were 5 times got their act together and to top it off a final session with an tire switch.
Loved Max his disappointment in his post Q interview, some might have looked ahead at tomorrow (great pos with Merc further back) but he was just gutted. Was absolutely mega all sessions up until he came out on inters behind Kimi on wet tires and it took him 3 laps to pass him.
Racing point mega entire session and Lance shows again on rain tires that he is more than a daddy pay driver and Sergio going off in the most important lap. Both Alfa in the top 10 when both Ferrari's went out even though they looked good earlier in the weekend and Merc just looked worst I have seen them since some early races in Mexico (then they were overheating rears, now looked like no heat at all).
Grid is mega dry or wet tomorrow, specially because it is a track were you can overtake, even without DRS ;)
for completion if I ever have to look up something, both sessions from today.

McLaren boys only one getting penalties for blocking/speeding under yellow, I think in Q1. Were definitely more guys getting green (Lance purple last lap) in sectors with double or waved yellows, so would love to see the FIA/FOM bit more open in these cases (data).
By noal Go To PostIs there rain forecast for tomorrow? Should be a fun race anyway.not during race, but earlier and with it being cold and the new tarmac, it could still be wet at start.
But it being F1, rain after post race interviews ;)
He tried, felt just short of the Ferrari's, did beat Russel
Yeah forgot what it was like to have a non central Europe race. Nice to have an early one. Hopefully get wet and dry running for maximum banter.
Fancy Verstappen to win this (as he goes off). I don't think the Racing Points can get through this without a significant mistake.
Lewis impatient and looses spot to Alex as result.
The rbr goes like a rocket in free air, but traction looks bad, so overtake difficult

By Punished* Go To PostTV director misses the Albon pass. Reminds me of when itv used to cut to breaks. Then they miss the Norris pass on Magnusson
