Strange session for two reasons:
- pace, Max did same time as last year Q3 time, so colder, different tires?.
- And normal list, other than Merc slower than usual. The way Perez blasted past Lewis start of long runs gives me the feeling that they have a bity to much rearwing, or maybe just balance issues (more wing because it might rain Sunday?).
Haas had two replace two engines, issue FP1, not a lot of running, DannyRic missed longruns due to hydraulic issue
and Ferrari had.........nothing
that comparison made me chuckle :P

Small shower meant all cars on track in the end on the same time and some clean laps with warm tires and a lot not (Valteri/Max for example have their 1st run times). Mercedes with more downforce and even though they now, don't expect it to be the same with party mode in Q2/3, loose 8/9 tenths to Ocon in S1/3, they easily make it up in S2.
The main event this afternoon will be; "do both Ferari's make it out of Q1", because they loose over a second in S1, in low downforce trim, compared to last years Ferrari engine :oops: . And Russel needs better teammates, to learn and get a better idea of his possibilities, but cannot see him in a Merc before 2022 so might be stuck at Williams for a while.
