By AlphaSnacks Go To PostHow are all these players testing positive? Why hasn't the NBA told them to stay put and away from crowds as the restart of the season approaches?I mean these guys just going to the gym to practice, there's gonna be other people there who could have covid and the air is just circulating.
By diehard Go To Postwe all need a frenchmen to take the heat for usor to at least be a clueless douchebag and a liability in the 4th quarter

By blackace Go To Postalways wrong diehard for a reason.People had all the energy in the world to hate on someone not taking a virus seriously with less than 1,000 cases in the U.S. but got none left for ones not taking it seriously with millions of infections and 6 digit deaths.

the 4th quarter liability thing is weird.. because he isn't a great free throw shooter?

dick about it, I got energy for that too.
By Dipro Go To Postthe funny thing is that the nets can lose all 8 games and still most likely make the playoffs.yeah but why would you want to?
By blackace Go To Postyeah but why would you want to?Because other teams below them aren't in position to take their spot on a good day
By DY_nasty Go To PostBecause other teams below them aren't in position to take their spot on a good daydoesn't really benefits them to put out a JV squad and there probably should be some concerns why their team is getting hulk smashed by corona

They've been stuck in the playoffs. Even firing their HC wasn't keeping them out.
By Dipro Go To Postsure but they want their money. It doesn't seem to be too much, if there is no legal issues. Avery Bradley is losing like 650k of 4.77 million dollar contract. I mean they are already down like 4 or 5 players... if 3 more opt out what do they do, Grab G-League players?

Or worse, grab some Knicks
David Griffin doing an interview with local media right now. Apparently three players on the Pels tested positive on the first day of testing, but none since. They will not release the names of which players those were. They are, however, isolation and being tested daily and cannot return to the team until they pass two days of negative tests. The league has mandated testing to be done every other day.
Judging by the fact that Josh Hart and JJ Redick are going golfing today so aren't in isolation, I think it is safe to say they have not tested positive (yet).
Non-covid related:

Not giving guys a 3 year extension off of three weeks of summer ball with half the league cruising seems like common sense.
Yikes

If Seth came along now he'd never get a look in the door despite being excellent at what he does. It's all bullshit, fuck SLOAN
Zion made more free throws in 19 games than Ball in 3 seasons.

NBA is awful about that shit. The main reason the NFL isn't stuck swinging from their star players' nuts all the time is because they promote teams not individuals over all else.

Even the shittiest of NBA teams have something entertaining about them. Whether it is a young player or a gimmicky system or, hell, even how the individuals are improving their own skills throughout the year and their chemistry with each other.
You have to try to fail at marketing an NBA team. And the NBA pays ESPN to say this shit about their league. It is self-sabotage.
I don't know why TNT and ESPN keep hiring dudes that clearly hate the current NBA when the league is the most popular it's ever been.
Imagine the WWE hiring play-by-play guys that shit on the product every breath.

By domino Go To Postmarket me the Hornets vs the Pistonswill mj slap malik or IT first? find out tonight!
By domino Go To Postmarket me the Hornets vs the PistonsPJ Washington has been a big surprise out of the recent draft. Will he continue to surprise the league with his development like Pascal Siakam?
Can Devonte' Graham continue his run and become a solid starting PG in the league for years to come?
Terry. The Terror. Rozier.
Malik Monk is fresh back from suspension. Can he continue the improvements we saw from him earlier this year?
Is Miles Bridges ready to take that next step?
Is Derrick Rose back to playing some of the most effective basketball of his career?
Christian Wood is angling for a big pay day. Can he back that up with his play now that Drummond is no longer with the team?
Luke Kennard was drafted partially because of how he excelled running the pick and roll in college. Is he ready to take a big step forward in running the offense more when Rose has to sit?
Blake Griffin is older and injured but still finds ways to get it done. His playmaking from the PF spot is still tops in the league!
By DY_nasty Go To Postkibner making me look bad on this fine day lolIt's all love. I just pay way too much attention to this league and know that (just about) every team has something worth watching. The Bulls are probably the hardest ask because their coach refuses to let them play to their strengths or be entertaining.

i respect this view but i feel the exact opposite.
some of these teams, even with a star, i have no idea how yall watch
i'd never turn on a hornets game if they werent the home team
im not out here watching shit NFL either though.
I like watching the sport done at a high level. The WNBA has become imminently watchable for me now because that league has improved by leaps and bounds over the last ten years. Just lots of highly skilled players in both leagues.
College still remains unwatchable for me, though. I just keep yelling "Shoot! You're open!" and similar things due to watching actual pros a lot.
