not a single mask in the crowd. Dudes are out in the world getting shot with rubber bullets and pepper spray with masks on but not a single on can put one on to go watch pickup basketball in Oklahoma.

By Kabro Go To PostSo what happens if there's a breakout within a team in a middle of a playoff series?According to the agreement, isolation and 7-day quarantine. That would mean postponement of a series.

i was always thinking that defense was the main thing keeping me on the court no matter where i played. every time i got truly dismantled was by some guy who fit the description 'pure shooter' but had an overflowing bag of moves from the catch. the thing is, i guarantee that kid can't even identify how he's giving away the bucket each time. and each correction he makes, just gives miller more options....
at least miller is a coach now so he's obligated to tell the kid.

Miller left the staff, so he's not telling them kids shit.

According to Connor Letourneau of The San Francisco Chronicle, Anthony Edwards is on top of Golden State's draft board. You gotta train up some youth to continue the playoff stretch.
The Warriors can already begin their offseason prep as they are one of eight teams who will not be part of the restart. The draft lottery will be on August 25 and the Warriors will have a 14% shot at the No. 1 pick. You have to wonder if the Warriors will be motivated to move Andrew Wiggins if they land Edwards in the draft, but we also can't rule out the possibility of them trading the pick along with a $17M trade exception to acquire a star that better aligns with Stephen Curry's window to win more titles.

you always hate woodson lol. he did decent, he at least should get an interview.
By unknown Go To Postyou always hate woodson lol. he did decent, he at least should get an interview. He probably deserves interviews elsewhere in the league. That entire list as a whole is shit btw
I have no problem with Mike Miller staying on as HC. Kennty Atkinson is a good guy too and we've seen him turn water into wine and making teams better than the sum of their parts. Woodson and Thibs can go kick rocks.

Atkinson pretty overrated imo, but I was told he was the future
Yea I don't want atkinson, I think they should keep Mike Miller. Stop trying to go for names for once...
During the Bubble season, would it be possible to allow people to join a virtual voice party and let us cheer into our phones/PCs/tablets/etc and pipe that sound in through the speakers of the arena? Obviously, you wouldn't be able to communicate with others. But I was thinking maybe the NBA app or a partnership with Zoom would allow this sort of functionality where people join a certain room. Idk

Monk has been reinstated by the NBA following a drug-related suspension in February, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Monk was suspended indefinitely on Feb. 26 – roughly two weeks before the league suspended the regular season. Few details regarding the nature of Monk's violation have emerged, but the Hornets announced Monday that the former Kentucky standout has officially been reinstated. The Hornets will not be among the 22 teams heading to Orlando next month, however, so Monk will have to wait until the start of the 2020-21 season to return to action.

EDIT:
The surgery happened way back on April 24th but it wasn't reported until today, so the Spurs have known for a while that they wouldn't have Aldridge available in the restart.
The Clips tickets I bought for March 20th are finally being refunded, so I guess that's one positive from the season starting up again
If I had literally just got them for the week before

Shams Charania is reporting the following tentative postseason dates for the NBA's resumption:
August 16 & 17 - Play-in Tournament
August 18 - First Round of Playoffs
September 1 - Second Round
September 15 - Conference Finals
September 30 Finals Game 1.
It's really happening, folks! The NBA will be back before you know it. There's still work to be done in making sure the eight excluded teams remain competitive and are ready for next season, but we're officially only about two months away from the NBA Playoffs.
