I remember being the biggest Pippen stan and being vicariously insulted that Kukoc took the last shot. It's like "yeah they won but...🤨"
G league international appeal can't be understated for guys who want to skip Spain/Greece/Turkey.

omg if this kid actually does stuff in the league, the Philippines fans will be out in force. That region loves basketball perhaps more than any other in the world.
By Dipro Go To Postwas MJ considered to be the GOAT when he retired in 93?
just watching ep 7 and the one reporter called him that.
old folks always told me he locked it up w/ the first 3peat and threw away the key w/ the second 3peat
also you got all the footage like this of folks in his era, as GOAT peers (Magic, Bird, Zeke, etc), while they are all still playing say he's the coldest thing to ever hit the court
for some reason i didn't know they played seattle in 96.
i knew the two utah series and his first three but i can't remember ever reading much about that seattle series.

By Dipro Go To Postfor some reason i didn't know they played seattle in 96.A lot of storylines that came out of that series... The whole GP shutdown MJ, 27 ppg (lol) but if you minus that series he was clocking 35 ppg in finals.. the Karl MJ thing, which is related to the Pip for Kemp thing.. That MJ egged Karl on to do to shit on Jerry.

By blackace Go To PostThe whole GP shutdown MJ, 27 ppg (lol)Funny how that's the thing that stuck out to people when MJ averaged 31PPG in the first 3 games and the Bulls went up 3-0 and the series was effectively over. I love GP but that's a try-hard award after you've already got smacked.

I love GP but that's a try-hard award after you've already got smacked. When GP was not on him.. Karl let GP take him from game 4.. The Sonics were getting lit up regardless but GP played MJ as well as anybody... He lowered his PPG by 4 points in 3 games, maybe MJ was coasting, maybe he had other things on his mind like he said... who knows..
By reilo Go To PostHe had champagne on his mind because the series was overStill held him to 23 (31%), 26(50%) and 22(26%)
The father's day game I can understand him being "off" but MJ is known for not letting up and just winning.. Call it tryhard if you want still a decent little feat for a PG
tbf, the whole bulls team shot like shit at that point
but im not gonna hate on seattle's moral victory
but im not gonna hate on seattle's moral victory
Multiple times throughout this documentary MJ says, and everyone else says, MJ gives 100% every game. MJ is epitome "kick the shit out of the dog when it's down" It's more believable that one of the best defensive guards of all time actually had an impact instead of "I had some other shit on my mind." The only game that gets that excuse is Game 6.

The bigger crime yesterday was the docu-makers fronting like the Magic weren't flat out better than the Bulls without Rodman (and without Ron Harper being in the full time rotation).
Grant averaged 18/11 on 67% TS.

I have very vague memories of Malone missing those 2 free throws in game 7 of the 96 WCF against the Sonics

Kobe stans were never this bad.
Was sickening watching Jordan break almost everyone who went against him. That Game 1 vs. Utah was so painful because Utah didn't play badly at all, and Malone had a great chance to send a statement to Jordan. He sure sent him a statement all right.

They did a great job of shutting down Horny too.

They are all aboard the Jalen Green train too.
This game is on local TV right now. 22 point comeback, down 8 with 30 seconds.. remember it like it was yesterday. Paul Millsap's first 3 point attempts of the season lol

LMAO @ the end
OMG the ending. I lost my shit hahahaha
The NBPA began texting all players a yes or no poll if they want to try and continue to the season.LeBron immediately texted as many players as possible to try and convince them to vote on continuing the season.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the union's "trying to gauge [the] broader sentiment of its 400-plus players" and will keep all answers confidential. Many players have been outspoken about their desires to continue the season as long as safety protocols are followed, so it will be interesting to see how much pushback there is in the polling. Based on previous reports, Silver is hoping to make a decision regarding the current season by early June.
My company is looking into doing a staggered reopening by the end of the month so I can't really fault guys who are getting tested everyday and will theoretically be working with no crowds.

By unknown Go To Postlol at thinking it's a legit title to whatever teams wins (if the season continues)any less legit than shutout seasons?
Only way this season gets an asterisk is if an entire competitive squad comes down with Covid mid series.
Or if the Rox won.
Or if the Rox won.
Considering the impact of Covid even if you fought it off, it just seems stupid but I get their itchiness.
My guess is they do east in orlando and west in vegas or something. Nevada governor went from not having a plan or timetable to rushing opening salons and restaurants within a week, conveniently right after the gaming board ok'd casinos to open at the end of the month. My guess is they are pushing hard to be a contending city.

Winning a title in the midst of a global pandemic is pretty tough.
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostWinning a title in the midst of a global pandemic is pretty tough.Playing in an empty gym without travel and a hostile crowd? Nah. It's practice.
Today is May 12. Last year, two game 7s of the conference semifinals were on this date, and conference finals started 2 days later.
I say forget about it, call it a wrap, unless they're committed to some permanent shifting of the NBA calendar. The season is lost, shit happens.

Might be better to temper expectations. Unless the players stay on "campus" for duration of the playoffs the possibility of zero infections is low. Especially if location 2 is Vegas.
