In slightly more positive news, Darius Miller is working his way back from his Achilles injury:
That video still doesn't show what burst he has in small spaces, if any, though.

She had to be pretty young too.
losing a parent is already enough, but in these conditions when he most likely couldn't even be next to her...
i'd be eternally broken

The worst part of these Corona deaths is you can't even be at their deathbed. Just a lonely death isolated at the hospital gasping for air and drowning in your own fluids.
Fuck I made myself depressed.
Fuck I made myself depressed.
Losing my mother is something I still cry about at random times... Could be anything, seeing my daughter from a profile, or being in the supermarket and seeing something that triggers a childhood memory. The shit is rough... It gets better and KAT should be proud that he did all that he could as a son to save her, which is more than many of us can say..

tldr: durant hated when praise of steph came at his expense and he is also entirely too online
Obvious news is obvious.
Will be better in Brooklyn with Kyrie and NY media I'm sure.
Trevor Booker was one of my favorite players and he announced his retirement. I kept hoping that somebody would give him a roster spot but it never happened.
Emoni Bates first sophomore to win Gatorade national player of the year. The year he's in the draft will have epic tanking.

It looks like its going to be a wash for Zaire Wade. Time to improve in college, but its looking like a Jeffrey Jordan sequel.
Bronny looks similar, but its too early to say. Jumping up to 6'8 can make anyone a lot more dominant.

i wonder if some players will come back just instantly washed if there's no ball until like January.

So Jalen Green going straight to the G league is interesting. It seems the NBA is creating a team just for him/marketing him?
By jjasper Go To PostSo Jalen Green going straight to the G league is interesting. It seems the NBA is creating a team just for him/marketing him?It doesn't appear to be a straight up g-league team but more of a team that will have exhibitions against g-league and international teams. Like a barnstormer of old.
ah. Sounds like the dude who decommitted from Michigan last week is also joining the team. If the NBA is going to pay dudes 500K plus allow them to get sponsorships and talk freely to agents/nba teams while cherry picking their competition to showcase them and likely getting them better TV exposure than g league teams there are going to be more people to jump in while we wait for the 1 and done year to die
The quicker we kill the NCAA the better. G-League teams being filled with a bunch of draft picks for a season before they can join the NBA will improve everything.
It won't kill the NCAA or anything because the people who watch college ball like college ball and don't watch it for mainly the top players. But it will result in more athletes being paid and I'm all for that!
problem with the G league is that players are better exposed, get to play in front of actual fans, get to travel better, and are probably getting paid more at the colleges. This team is probably the first step in alleviating some of these issues.
They're not sending Jalen Green to a G-league team, though. They're sending him to a custom development team that will occasionally play other G-league teams in exhibition games.
Now, I kind of like what they're doing. $500K, keeping the kids local and getting them into a training system, that's much better than what they had proposed before ($125K and dump them into some random small city). Still not sure they're paying as much as Kentucky, though.

They need to fully commit to the G-League and let kids get drafted from high school, it would take some reworking of the cap space with how it works the NBA's minor league but they would be paying kids and that's what matters
We may not be able to watch live sports right now, but we can revisit the greatest games in history — at least those that are up on YouTube. We used statistics and expert opinions to look for some of the all-time greatest upsets, comebacks, matchups and most memorable games, then we collected video of those games in this archive. To relive those moments, filter to see the games in each category — and scroll down to see the criteria we used to find these particular games — or just hit the “random” button and let us pick a perfect game for you.https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/sports-classics/nba/
No 2011 Finals games on that list is sacrilege

saw this on reddit and thought it was funny:
