While I like the tournament idea, the COVID issue is still going to be at play. Are you going to do daily testing? What happens if a top tier team randomly has its star players test positive?
A sequestering situation where everyone is confirmed negative and is locked down in a particular environment for the remainder of an entire tournament run, presumably without fans, is the only way I could see it getting done at this point and the players aint gonna agree to that.
