By Not Go To PostToday's workout was hell. My wife fell asleep for 2 hours after her second shot and had no other side effects. Meanwhile 12 hours after my 2nd my whole body becomes virtually immovable for 24 hours. I still feel like shit
git gud m7
I'm waiting on working out and running, shot been making me feel all kinds off. Not in the mood to faint on pavement or while holding weights.
That's always been his stance unfortunately he tends to forget he has ridiculous influence over people. Meh whatever Joe a be alright. He done got his golden ticket in the form of +200M
In other news the vaccine uptake has stagnated here at 55% and if people don't get their first dose by June 9 the currently won't be able to get a second. We have enough doses to cover 90% of our population. I image getting a firm date of reopening will push quite a few people to get vaccinated.

Northern Ireland shops opened for first time since Christmas Eve.
I do find it a bit strange that we've got nothing definitive on when booster shots should be expected or how we're doing in terms of inventory for them. Some first responders will have had the shot for 4 months as of May.
I think immunising the world is a bigger concern. Additionally immunisation isn't just a binary 1 or 0 after your have been vaccinated. Your body creates hundreds of thousands of different antibodies that react to different strains of specific viruses differently. The booster is mostly just to train your body for the most previlant and or deadly strain at any given time. Also it's not like you just lose your immunity after a year so don't let the media drive you insane with anxiety.

Tell you what, I wouldn't really want to be going to those trial indoor concerts in Liverpool, with the age group that hasn't got any vaccines. Give it a few months.
Johnson and Johnson also dropped here in the official vaccination program lmao... good thing we only bought 9 mil of them... to our 6 mil population....
At least they give you the option to get it anyway, at your own doctor if you just want to get vaccinated quickly. think my mom will do that, but doubt my dad will have anything but phizer at this point

Just got my 2nd dose of Pfizer. Now just waiting for 15 minutes before I leave. Feels good to finally have this done!

We're not gonna reach herd immunity through vaccinations but we might be able to manage the virus and return to "normal"
They must be taking some real liberties with those county numbers. I'm pretty sure you don't just cross the state lines of ND and Minnesota and instantly start thinking you need a vaccine or not.

By reilo Go To PostProbably lack of data for ND, being the more obvious conclusionI'm sure there is a lack of data for Northwestern Minnesota too though
When I think of the Dakotas during the pandemic I think of two states that handled it all extremely poorly -- and purposefully so.
So until they start behaving differently I'm gonna take it at face value or deem it as lack of data.
Either way, they don't deserve the benefit of doubt.
We can also confirm this by ND having the highest cases per 100,000 in the country (14,000 per 100,000) yet an absolutely abysmal 33% (first dose) vaccination rate.

The fact that North Dakota -- population of under 800,000 -- ranks near the bottom in vaccinations after they have seen over 100,000 people catch COVID is willful not accidental.
California has vaccinated more people PER DAY the last 7 days than North Dakota has total.

My point wasn't about ND, it was the liberties (assumptions) taken with low population counties. If you prefer you can look to someplace like the state lines of Wisconsin/Minnesota
They could have gotten themselves fully vaccinated in under a month by now. They should be a blip on the radar.

ND about the same as states like Ohio/Texas/Nevada/North Carolina.
I heard Florida re-opened with only a quarter of dose 1 vaccines done.
I wonder how this will pan out?

By Daz Go To PostI heard Florida re-opened with only a quarter of dose 1 vaccines done.Well all states are basically "open" just to varying degrees. If you mean removed all restrictions, Texas did that 2 months ago and cases have continues to slowly decline.

They are at 52.4% of the eligible population having at least the first shot.

By AlphaSnacks Go To PostAt this point, if you're not vaccinated, let Darwinism play out. Poke the bear, Trump's America.Pretty much where I'm at as well.
Yeah, same at this point. At least in the States.
Not looking forward to the variants having plenty to work with tho

I agree that all people completely unwilling to get vaccinated can go ahead and get the virus and fucking die already. Fuck them.
That said, I'm willing but not yet vaccinated, as I'm trying (really trying) to find JNJ vaccine options while also trying to have a ready-made excuse not to see my extended family around Memorial Day. Can't get fully vaccinated too early.
Truth be told, though, if I can find a place to get the vaccine in the next few days, I'm willing to just tell my parents that no, I don't want to go to that event. See y'all some other time.
