for a year i had to inject a syringe in to my legs every week. at first it took me a few days and many hours just sitting there with the needle in hand until i was able to do it. in the end i did it while brushing my teeth.
worst pain in my life was when they injected a needle into my big toe. holy hell did that hurt. i legit screamed in pain.

ive had worse pains overall, but fuck me, blood gas test is easily the worst involving a needle for me. needles are not supposed to go directly into your wrist
I'm not scared of needles, but the last time I donated blood I swear they used a fucking cattle needle or something. I could see inside the fucking thing through hole in the tip. The nurse even put her arm on my shoulder because she said I made a face when I saw the thing.

Worst pain of my life was kind of interesting. I was watching TV with my gf, when I got a little stomach pull, you know the one... It wasn't bad at first, so I just walked away like. I'm just going to pee, brb, but every step after the last one was excruciating pain.
By the time I opened the bathroom's door I couldn't even stand or see straight, I just remember I dropped my pants, sat down, put my head between my knees and almost passed out. After I was done, I just fell sideways to the floor. I literally couldn't move. I remember thinking, you know, there are probably worse ways to die than in your gf's parents bathroom, curled up in the floor with your pants down, but not many. But honestly it was the only time I ever thought to myself, surely death is better at this moment, I'm fine with it.
A few minutes later, my head cleared up a little and I could stand up. Cleaned myself up, washed my hands, etc. and then it was like nothing happened. By the time I walked back I was completely fine. I sat back down and was like, yeah, must have eaten something funny. Just fucking weird.

Also my 3 year old hates needles. Holy shot brehs 😭🤣
By Kibner Go To PostYou may have passed a kidney stone. Lmao
Yeah, initially sounded like either that or your appendix royally fucking it off. Assume it wasn't the latter in the circumstances.
Needles in a tender part like shoulder or rear ain't scary. In the vein for blood...ehhh, a little annoying for a few seconds. But in the gum during dentist?
Shivers.
Shivers.

qtip down the dickhole now that's something
Blood being drawn hurts less unless tbey miss the vein. The size of the needle is irrelevant too. It’s the viscosity of what they’re pumping into you along with location. A Tetanus shot feels like you’re being injected with tar and fingers / toes / mouth hurt regardless.
I had stitches on my eyebrow with no pain meds cause of a concussions before.

Yes lol

Yes lol
By Fenderputty Go To PostBlood being drawn hurts less unless tbey miss the vein. It's not pain. Sometimes it makes me pass out because of the blood pressure drop.
I don't fear them actually. It just sucks to have that happen. The best thing is that docs can't even explain the synecopes, they're just like "well avoid the thing that does it, if you feel it coming on put your head between your legs." If I need a blood test that's out of the question.

Needles to say, I took drugs.
Never had a problem with vaccinations or anaesthetic in my arms and wrists, but really, really fucking hate the injection to the back of the gums before a dental procedure. Somehow feels like more than a pin-prick.

I usually need 3 or 4 injections when it comes to teeth. Had to have 4 when I had a wisdom tooth removed. Worst part of it was they had to jam it right into the back of my gums and basically into my cheek every time.
Also had a 50% chance of losing all feeling forever on the right side of my mouth because the root was so close to the nerve and the dentist wasn't confident he could extract without damaging it.
All came out well in the end thankfully.
By Kibner Go To PostYou may have passed a kidney stone. LmaoOne of my greatest fears in life.
I got my shot today. As stated I got mine due to job classification scrounging sites. Just found out through my GC that our entire crew is available at a local spot to get the JJ shot without an appointment. Kinda wish I just for that lol
Follow up appointment I like three weeks. Pfizer
