it's Coventry, her immune system is already S-tier because of the pollution, drinking-water and general filthiness of that shithole city.
Lol Swedish media reporting it as 'British V-day' - guess it has some resemblance to history and appropriate with all Brexit talks.

Their excuse for the "hack" was basically incompetent security which is definitely believable. IP geolocation as evidence is sketchy at best though. They will need a bit better for anything to stick and avoid any counter-suit i would think.
They just wanted to install spyware on her devices and scare her a bit. Hope she has new ones because those old ones are most definitely compromised.

Canada has bought more doses per head of population than any other – enough to vaccinate each Canadian five times, said the alliance, which includes Amnesty International, Frontline AIDS, Global Justice Now and Oxfam.

So, uh, personal update, because I otherwise feel like I'm just tip-toeing around it.
Both of my parents tested positive for COVID Saturday, with my mother being the first to say she had symptoms, with shortness of breath on Friday. My father claimed to be fine, but went and got tested after my mother's positive test. Fast forward to the present, my mother says she's not doing any worse, but my father is unfortunately now hospitalized. He's not intubated, but is getting oxygen, and has been started on remdesivir, dexamethasone, and antibody plasma treatment.
Incidentally, an uncle on my mother's side also is hospitalized and is getting the same treatment. They were all together (plus another aunt) on Thanksgiving, but who knows if that was a common infection point or if they simply were unlucky to get it independently.

Yeah, unfortunately, my parents were the type that took it "seriously" (they wore masks everywhere) but not seriously enough (they still went to church and restaurants with extended family, as was the case on Thanksgiving).
Now, who the hell knows if they got it because of church or restaurants, but it certainly increases the odds overall.

LONDON (AP) — Britain’s medical regulator warned Wednesday that people with a history of serious allergic reactions shouldn’t receive the COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech as investigators look into whether two reactions on the first day of the country’s vaccination program were linked to the shot.

My dad has like a 5000 masks (not an exaggeration) and they’re always masked up but they’ve flown to Dallas twice (they want to move there) and my mom is always going to nail appointments and shit. Why even bother with the masks and sanitizers if you’re still gonna be reckless anyway
Hope your parents have a quick recovery.

I know, right? I mean, most of us are still going to stores and places, almost none of us are completely cut off from society and, therefore, from risk. Even if we mask up, get in, get out, there's always the possibility that we're breathing the wrong air at the wrong time. Shit happens. But if you're staying in the same air, odds just increase that someone infected is going to come along and pollute it and, if you're staying in it, you might breathe it in.
Eh, whatever. My parents' choices were their own, just as mine are my own. Lord knows, I don't cook like ever (reheating leftover pizza doesn't count [shout out to DiPro, enjoy that shit from the trash can]), so I'm getting takeout or drive-through almost everyday. So my risks for damn sure aren't as low as someone cooking all meals at home, let alone as low as someone who gets everything including groceries delivered and never leaves the house. These are the decisions we make and risks we take.
Fucking hell. Let's just get the vaccine out in high enough numbers to end this thing. (DY, please.)
