I really don't ever want to focus solely on the mask issue. It's the easy part, and focusing on it just takes attention off of the multiple failures everywhere else. I've had to actually enforce this stuff since before lockdowns and imo everyone is, in some capacity, full of shit.
There are so many area specific restrictions and localized suggestions that things don't even get addressed until they become impossible to ignore - and at that point blaming someone or something is the goal, not solutions.

I'm tired of giving Americans excuses, for real. lol. People are selfish fucks. Some people have to be in perilous situations, for work, and still refuse to take the simplest of measures. I've had to deal with fucking EMT's and medical staff not wearing masks or observing the distance rule. Hospital staff not being held accountable for following basic safety procedures.

Damn guys that all terrible. We had our second covid death yesterday when a cancer patient who returned from Jamaica, at the beginning of October, succumbed to complications arising from covid. We still get weekly positives but they are all from returning individuals who must go into mandatory 14 day solation at a government facility or at home. I believe the fine for breaking isolation is $12k.
Don't think we will go back into lockdown unless shit breaks out in the general population again.
