By Pennywise Go To PostAlways easier when they got the right passport to allow them an early transfer.Yep -- having that European passport is obviously huge at letting the guys move early in their career, but on the plus side, a lot of teams here are giving their academy players game time super early. That Busio kid is 17 and has been playing professional games for a few seasons now. FC Dallas and Philadelphia Union in particular have really embraced playing young talent. Weston McKennie left for Schalke a few years ago and has really developed into a fine young player.
Think it's incredible valuable if they're getting years within the U17/U19. Helped Pulisic/Reyna to settle in and get used to everything.
The guy who got Dallas' academy fully going (Oscar Pareja) is now the coach of my team (Orlando City) so I'm hoping he can help turn us around. We need it.
By Meier Go To PostJonathan David is a pretty impressive young Canadian player too. Nice to see some talents developing there as well.
By Fergie Go To PostThis Davies guy has been a monster down that flank.Starting to think he's the best talent Canada or the US has produced and he's still 19.
Fucking hell.
By Yurt :3 Go To Postbud did you go to the Sunken Valley or the Senpou Temple. I need to update my avatar accordingly
i'm stupid. where is the senpou temple?
i played a bit last night. i'm currently in the sunken valley.
the boss with the gun is so annoying. he isn't hard, but i feel like i'm doing very little (posture) damage, and i eventually get caught by his bullets.
By Freewheelin Go To PostBayern look really good, probably my favourites for the CLnah
By FootbalIFan Go To PostContrary to popular belief the pitch is not way bigger or anything, it's just the home advantageI see!
Pep always played for 1-1 away in CL, and it's continued that way since, but in different styles with different managers. Pep played possession and quick passing while being quite withdrawn and trying not to concede, Enrique played counter attack with MSN, valverde just parked the bus like a moron etc
don't see why though, as you can suffocate any side with tiki taka regardless of home advantage. And you have Messi
(for now)
By bud Go To Posti'm stupid. where is the senpou temple?Remember the old hag praying near the bridge right before Ashina Castle? She's pointing towards the temple

(IIRC, its been too long)
you went the harder route but just as well, as now you'll get an extra boss later on ;)
I fucking loved that level, it was insanely tense from beginning to end! Yeah, she's annoying...there's a trick, however, as per usual. I'll let you figure it out by yourself!

ahh, i've been there. that's where you go underground right? that place gave me the creeps, so i left there asap, haha.
i saw about five minutes of this (spoilers, obviously). how is this even possible.
Another great result for Lampard the fraud, that's now just 20 points from a possible 54 (8 loses, 5 draws & 5 wins) from the 18 big games they've played this season. During those games they've also conceded 33 goals, more than 2 a game. Honestly anybody thinking Chelsea are having a good season needs their head checking.

By rerixo Go To Posthad a good run but lampard is a truly trash managerHe was put in a tough scenario with the transfer ban and them losing their best player in the process. I don't really understand why Chelsea didn't make any moves in January, but I suspect that isn't his fault. I think he can become a good manager.
By rerixo Go To Posthad a good run but lampard is a truly trash managerHe's fine.
Though I'm starting to think Mount is just another Oscar.
Barcelona have no hope of winning the Champions League this season. Madrid miracle tier if it happens.
First half was complete ass, Busquets has to be dropped with FDJ slotting into his spot. Arthur needs to be starting much more often. Yet the issues all lie with the fact that injuries and terrible recruitment have completely rendered the attacking unit impotent and the squad lacking depth respectively.
Suarez, Dembele and Alba are huge misses. Messi can not both create and finish his own chances.
The Madrid - Barcelona match will be interesting no doubt. Madrid is meeting a Barcelona in a terrible state, they surely have to take advantage of it this time.
Liverpool and Juventus are favourites. Bayern and PSG with an outside chance. Atleti...too volatile.
Yet...Madrid + Crossing + Pointing = Success?

I genuinely don't think we are anywhere near favourites. Maybe on paper but in reality we can barely string two Sarri passes together.
we concede in almost every single game and we still don't fucking know who to play in the middle

By Yurt :3 Go To PostI genuinely don't think we are anywhere near favourites. I really can not see any team halting Juves progress to the final.
Like somebody mentioned earlier, the standard of football has dropped off dramatically across all leagues it feels like.
Premier League is a joke, La Liga is being challenged by two teams who do not want to win it. Bundesliga is a similar story. Seria A is probably the most exciting and interesting out of all of them because Lazio, Atalanta, Inter have been competing far better than the also rans in the other leagues.
By Laboured Go To PostWheeeewwwwwwwwWow, I went to their wiki page and was surprised to see only 19 players listed on their senior roster. Obviously a couple of the youth guys listed below play for them regularly so it's slightly misleading but yeah, that's shockingly thin.
By Laboured Go To PostWheeeewwwwwwwwThe bench today(remembering that Vidal started on the wing and firpo/semedo were on):
Arthur
Neto
Lenglet
Puig
Fati
Araujo
Akieme
Truly game changers
I miss having players like Pedro, Thiago, Keita, Adriano, etc available on the bench
Not amazing players but great squad players
It doesn't help that Roberto, Suarez, Dembele, Alba etc are missing of course but even if they were available only Vidal and Arthur are good bench options
I don't know how Madrid are not in a big lead atm

By Eternity Go To PostThat is what happens when you panic buy.Or when you don't have any strategy planned out and focus on players like Griez.
By FootbalIFan Go To PostI miss having players like Pedro, Thiago, Keita, Adriano, etc available on the benchWhy did you guys loan so many players out? Is it just to balance the budget? I see the guy Barca loaned/sold to Roma had played 10 games this season already.. you need guys like that as you said. Alena, Todibo and a few others would surely have been beneficial to have available. Very strange. Busquets is clearly spot on though.
Not amazing players but great squad players
Losing Thiago is one of the bigger fuck ups of Barcelona's recent history. Insert a clause in his contract that allows him to be sold for buttons if he doesn't reach a minimum number of appearances, then don't select him for weeks at a time. There's nobody in their midfield with his quality. Was the natural replacement for the previous generation of Barcelona midfielders.
By Eternity Go To PostThat is what happens when you panic buy.feels like they panicked after neymar went away and have only focused on replacing him
It absolutely goes back to Neymar, a departure which should have resulted in the board resigning. Coutinho and Dembele were the in theory good purchases but the did not work out, yet it was areas in other parts of the pitch that were neglected initially and some never remedied since. Barcelona missing a world class right back since Dani Alves is a joke of epic proportions. At least 6 players in the current squad need to replaced.
Rakitic, Busquets need booting and they can take Sergi Roberto, Firpo and a few bench warmers with them. What state this club is in. Once Messi decides to go to Juve it will take an unholy amount of cash to rebuild the squad.
Thiago was indeed an ideal player to keep, but the club are run by power hungry morons who never pay for their incompetence. The socis are extremely stupid.

I was going to try and guess the scores based on the posts here but the aussie guy spoiled the Chelsea one. Would have said 2-0 to Bayern.
For the Napoli - Barça, I would guess it ended 3-1 or 2x0 to Napoli.

Ah, if the Aussie guy is referring to me - apologies. I'm actually travelling on a working holiday, and have missed most Chelsea games over the last six weeks. The only one I've been able to watch live was the Spurs game on Saturday.
Re: Lampard - I think he's done okay with the hand he has been dealt. Made some mistakes obviously, but I'd consider it a good start if he secures CL football next season. Then we will have a full summer window to properly address some issues. Panic buying in January would have been pointless, and Ziyech is a good start in that regard.
I think a lot of the squad problems predate him anyway. Hazard papered over so many cracks.
