By reilo Go To PostI thought that was the one character they wouldn't let them use in the movies or TV
Don’t remember why he wasn’t included honestly
Yeah, show started shooting this week in New York.
Hailee Steinfeld was seen on set and she's definitely playing Kate Bishop, as it had been heavily rumored.

No idea how they're going to do justice to Fraction's Hawkeye run. It goes through so many different genre shifts in a way that I don't think TV can convey. Plus there's an entire issue narrated entirely through the instinctual thoughts of a dog.

Give it Noah Hawley.
By Laboured Go To PostGive it Noah Hawley. That would be fantastic.
Not sure if they'll even follow the comic run at all closely. Maybe throw in the Russians and the development of Kate Bishop as the new Hawkeye. The comic runs is just too hard to capture.
Has anyone here watching Haunting of Hill House?
Didn't think I'd like it as I can't imagine a horror tv series working as they never click for me, but 6 episodes in and I'm thoroughly entertained

HoHH was very good. And I have to say I really liked Homeland across all of its seasons, and I think its first two seasons are its worst. Sticks the landing too.
By Kidjr Go To PostI have never FF.Homeland is gr8 and gets some unnecessary h8
However I am binging homeland which is id also describe as entertaining
By domino Go To PostCarmella ain’t so bad up to season 3. She kinda calms it after the first couple epsThe smart one is Barbara. The other two siblings (Janice and Tony) are clearly so fucked up by their mother. Carmella gets read pretty bad by some a couple times over as someone who ultimately sticks it out with Tony because she loves the perks too much.
Janice… I just wonder if she needs 1 brick to the head or 2. This whole ep with the funeral 😑😑😑
I love how Barbara just exists for them to be like "no we know, not everyone is born a mobster" and she has literally no character arcs
Mandalorian Spoilers ahead:
Newest episode was good, but it was more a show case for Boba Fett. Wonder if they're planning a spin off series?
I also like how we're not getting any more filler. We went straight to Tython and saw Grogu try to connect with a Jedi. Presumably that happened as he stopped before he was abducted by the Empire.
We're also getting a Bill Burr return. Which is welcome.

God I hope they let Lenny keep his Brummy accent in the LOTR series.
Can't take it seriously. Everything in a brummy accent needs a laugh track.

By inky Go To Postspoliers you cunts. I'm seeing it tonight.Palpy is Grogu's grandmother
By Lunatic Go To PostHonestly never saw ole Billy Bald Burr making a return.Ol' Billy Three Guns is going to promote Hims on Mandalorian
By JesalR Go To PostThis latest series of Taskmaster may be the best so farHuh, I'm an episode behind and finding it the worst
Feel like they expected one of Richard and Johnny to think outside of the box, but everyone's approach to every task has been pretty basic. Especially in the prize tasks which have been a waste of time.
Lack of a studio audience has been more damaging than I'd hoped, but less than I feared. As a listener to Richard Herring's podcast, it seems really weird how timid he is in this.
Didn’t enjoy this ep of Mando. knew Boba was coming, but didn’t want it. Never liked that they resurrected him in the old EU, and dislike that they did it here.
Still, final couple episodes are going to be great. The show continues to be the best SW material that Disney have produce.
And the Jedi that will eventually come will be Plo Koon
Agree 100% with this about Homeland. Never enjoyed the relationship angle between Carry and Brody.
Isn’t he basically God?

By Hitch Go To PostHuh, I'm an episode behind and finding it the worstI think how useless Jonny is has been great, and there feels like a better interaction between the contestants, especially because of Daisy.

At the very worst, it's probably my favourite since the James Acaster season

That is what he wanted you to think.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostIsn’t he basically God?I don't know what he is, other than a weird hermit who is so old that none of the powers -good or evil- have any effect on him. He dun give a shit 'bout anything but his girl and his hut.
This season is doing exactly what I hoped it wouldn't, closing down the universe to characters we've seen before.
I didn't want a season 2 because I knew it was going to be successful and they'd start shoehorning in familiar names every episode. The Funko Pop crowd has spoken.
I don't think the familiar names have been too shoehorned in up to this point. Maybe the latest episode pushed it a bit, but I dunno.
It's a worry I have, mind. I feel like the existing characters they've brought in up to this point at least make sense for the show and its plot.

I don't mind the crossovers and characters showing up.... that episode was legit awful - and it stood out even more due to how incredible last week's was.
