season 2 of Doom Patrol started, watched 1st eps was good again, not quite sure if I can deal with young daughter "whining" all season
Mad Men removed from UK Netflix and is going to be on Starzplay later in the year. Guess I'm never watching Mad Men then.
Rewatching the Sopranos and I need to know, did they put a mic into James Gandolfinis nostrils to pick up his breathing in every other scene? It sounds like a windy day when he's on screen.
By Hitch Go To PostEntourage always struck me as being a vacuous pile of shite, having never watched a minute of it.
Think anyone who likes or identifies with any of the characters on Entourage needs to go on a special list.
By Hitch Go To PostEntourage always struck me as being a vacuous pile of shite, having never watched a minute of it.The lead character Vinny Chase was very unlikeable. The entire show revolved around him basically making things 10x more difficult than they needed to be for the sake of creating a story. No lessons are ever learned. There is little to no character growth. Everything always just worked out for the group largely because Vince was good looking and famous. That was the entire show.

Even has Weinstein playing himself in a few episodes
I wasn't refering to the uploading itself, more so the state of the world
Hyper-pollution
The chasm between rich and poor
Capitalism gone haywrie
Now maybe the notion of uploading consciousness might not be aa thing in 20 years, but right now, virtual escapism is a thing - billion dollar business.
Every ad I saw for this show made it look a certain way, overly glossy, saturated colours - it turns out to be pretty dark underneath that glossy veneer.

That's not entirely original, you just described cyberpunk, futuristic dystopias and every other sci-fi film of the aughts like the Matrix.
Just furthering the pattern of black people being given the worst possible jobs, like parts in CW shows.

At least San Junipero was like 2050 or whatever, and that was just so they could squeeze in people who were alive in the 80s
By Yurtlicious Go To Postwhoever casted Homelander deserves all the creditHe makes me put up with Hughie who I really want dead more than any of the heroes
his punchable mug is the whole show

By domino Go To Postman the CW knows how to find the super fine peopleIt's because their bar for acting is lower than their bar for attractiveness
By Not Go To PostIt's because their bar for acting is lower than their bar for attractivenessAhh just like in the 80s. I'll give it a watch.
By i can get you a toe Go To PostThat's not entirely original, you just described cyberpunk, futuristic dystopias and every other sci-fi film of the aughts like the Matrix.I never said it was original, I said it was well done as the promotional material never really hints at it being as dark as it actually is.
Heck, I thought it would be just a rip off of The Good Place.
Ia not making a big brain take, just stating that the show caught me by surprise is all.
just finished Better Call Saul Season 5
Lalo Salamanca is the MAN. what a terrific character and acting.

Don't know why I read that as "The Bad Bitch". Was here trying to figure out what drug Disney was on.
Can't tell how well the jokes work from the trailer alone, but it looks like it could be fun. Showrunner is one of the head Rick and Morty writers (shock)
Catching The Wire for the first time. Started last Wednesday and already halfway through Season 3. Some good fucking television.
By LFMartins86 Go To Postbut.. not the literal DC service?

Except it's not a joke.
