unironically yeah, there really isnt anything else that survived covid but call centers and stuff like that
By Wahabipapangus Go To PostActually not just kind, I really found it pretty terrible. Felt more like I just did a summary over my health problems the last 4 years and then that was it. I realize a psychologist also needs to get to know me and so on, but there was absolutely zero chemistry or anything.A friend of mine has just gotten his master for psychology and yeah, the first couple of sessions can be bad he says.
Most people's mental defense makes them hate the experience because you're basically admitting very private feelings to a complete stranger.
Of course there's varying degrees of it and some psychologists break down that barrier quicker than others.
So don't knock it just yet after that first one.

What country?
I've heard Costa Rica is lovely from one my Costa Rican friends. Probably going to do his bachelor party there.
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postwe dont even have amazon in denmark, but costa rica, land of bryan oviedo, got it.He mentioned it's a call center so it's probably for lower cost labour.
Not really no. Lots of smaller sites for different things instead, and amazon is slow as fuck and kind of bad if buying through uk or german store. But Amazon are making their way through scandinavia now (started with Sweden recently).
All i want is toilet paper delivered to me monthly dammit. I am sick of using paper towels because I keep forgetting.,

I don't like Amazon and what they are doing with anti-competitive behavior but when I can get free same-day shipping on something...
I'm part of the problem

By Not Go To PostRained here last night. Biggest clouds and bluest sky I've seen all yearBruh we had a tropical storm roll through that knocked out power twice today along with taking down some trees and electricity poles. Was a trip considering the storm went past us then doubled back after hitting Nicaragua hit us. Climate chance is real for sure.
2020 is over
Good luck psy-kun cause it's coming your way.
By DiPro Go To Posthe said amazon or call centerdont worry we also got amazon call centers, but i dont work there

We have an apartment viewing on Friday at this new building in our neighbourhood that's absolutely gorgeous. Prices have gone down due to COVID-19 so this two bedroom spot and almost 800 sq ft goes for just around what we pay now for a dinky one bedroom in an older building. Pretty excited, love this neighbourhood and it's close to the subway and my girlfriends' parents.

I wish this would happen in London
I imagine they have in the London unless it's the only major city in the world where prices haven't depressed.
By Kidjr Go To PostI wish this would happen in LondonI’m sure it has to some extent like everywhere else.
By Lunatic Go To PostPrices here are down $300-500 a month.must be nice.
By reilo Go To PostPrices are way down in San Francisco, too. Got a $300/mo price reduction from our landlord.Places out here offering one month free, some places two months free lol shit is nuts. Time to take advantage.
By Kidjr Go To PostI wish this would happen in LondonPrices are definitely down, maybe not around Knightsbridge and Hyde Park though if that's where you looking, Kidjr

Been house hunting since beginning of the year and thought I was being smart by waiting. I've been looking daily for a while, houses haven't flinched an inch. Certainly not in Surrey (purely, Croydon, reigate etc)

Houses went waaaaay up here. Like a shit ton.
Every city dweller figured out in quarantine that having a garden and some space is nice.

Speaking of garden, I just replaced my summer veggies with winter veggies in my two 4x4 raised planter boxes
- beans
- brusssels
- various leafy greens

By Lunatic Go To PostKidjr is just having his own discussion. It’s his world, we are just living in it.
I am also house hunting in South London, can confirm KidJrs experience. The bottom end of the market has collapsed due to no 5 or 10% mortgages and job losses, but the cheaper houses have carried on rising due to a tax change and people's desire for more space post lockdown

I previously potted summer stuff and no winter things in pots. This will be my first attempt at greens and such after building the raised boxes 😬

What kind of boxes did you make?

18” high 4’x4’
Used cedar. Sides were 1x6. Didn’t paint and used an oil (ting oil) to weather treat. The top trim (1x4) will likely need swapping long before the whole structure.
Pine will also work but will weather faster.
