lmao
By HonestVapes Go To PostThere was this lad there, Ste, about five years older than me but a properly bad methamphetamine head. Anyway, he had started seeing a woman working there and talking about her a lot. The relationship was awkward at best though, their first date together, she brought her Mum.but this was cute ;_;
So one day, walking back from a break he was talking about her, talking about all the things he did for her. Cooking, cleaning, etc. I turned around and quipped with "BUT YOU STILL HAVEN'T FUCKED HER"
agree with the rest, a warning for calling someone a nonce is a good trade
Shit. I took the over on data breakdowns in Vegas. Lost a grand.
Oh well, fuck it. I'll get it back next time.

By data Go To PostJust an FYI I haven't have a mental breakdown or panic attack in a month now .Well done.

You got any tips?
lol this girl went out with me with a butt plug on and she forgot it at my place

By Daz Go To PostWell done.I just try not to think about it and I REALLY stopped trying to force myself to 'get motivated.' That shit's the real mistake. Some days you just ain't feeling it, and that's fine. Better to work in the right mood, in my experience. Just not a fan of the 'look in the mirror and get your shit together, millenial' mentality.

By Daz Go To PostWell done.Have you considered yoga (or at least breathing exercises)? I can help you there otherwise, Bold.

Utter shite.

By data Go To PostThat's not that different than my life pre rona. Gym reopening helped a lot. I do miss concertsI haven’t been to work since March, I work from home exclusively. I’ve barely met up with my friends. It’s been pretty lame.
I miss meeting up with people, my board game nights, going into Toronto, and sitting in a cafe.
By Facism Go To PostCycling helped me loads but the weather is going garbage-tier again so ggUsed to do that - but last summer someone stole my bike and I haven't gotten around to replacing it.
I got really into running and that helped with the stress, but been lacking the energy and motivation.
And like you said - the weather turning shit has been a real motivation killer.

Honest question.
By sy Go To PostWhat were you even ‘getting motivated’ to do? Honest question.Dieting, cleaning, realtionships(expectations of having one and trying to make things happen), weight lifting, etc. Things that, if I didn't do, I'd feel like a failure and so I'd set myself up for failure.
I get much more done by just going on whims. I'll go to the store and get some tilapia because I feel like it rather than going to the store and thinking 'I gotta be healthy' and getting irritated by those restrictions and buying a box of chocolate.

be in a relationship if you wanna be in one not because you're expected to have one
I don't believe in labels and nobody has the right to label anyone anything only b/c they're expected to do A and B. You're no failure, be you and do whatever you want and makes you happy at your own pace.
take my toxic advice
phrasing it this way is probably best:
outside of cleaning and maybe dieting, none of that stuff would make me feel like a failure. what makes me feel like a failure is working a shitty day job where I'm entirely expendable and replaceable and letting a day pass where I don't even try to do something to better myself. If I don't at least try, then I failed.
I'm unable to see worrying about dating, relationships or weight lifting as anything but the luxuries of someone who's secure in the most important ways.

By Daz Go To PostUsed to do that - but last summer someone stole my bike and I haven't gotten around to replacing it.There is a running group called run talk run (so social talk as well and for people to just go slow), might be around your area too if you feel like that is a good venue, bold.

Been called in already for a transplant, less than a week after being listed. They're not sure if the liver is good enough yet, but if it is, I'm going to be transplanted this night or early tomorrow. 4 hours kan taxi now...while I am shitting myself in the back
