Had to be in an office where they used bright fluorescent lights which didn't flash fast enough for my eyes/brain. Kept getting terrible headaches. Ended up getting the non-polarized version of this particular pair: https://www.theraspecs.com/wrap-theraspecs/ooh fancy! Mine is just your standard Barner (black noir) glasses.
It made me look goofy as hell because I wanted my peripheral vision protected, too, but no more painful headaches for the 45-60 minute drive home!

I posted in the auto thread but I narrowly avoided an aggressive/high/crazy driver that decided to go around me on a single merge lane with no shoulder and concrete barriers on the side. He had a giant lifted pickup truck with tires that were head level so the only one that would've been fucked would've been me.

I get really bad driving anxiety. Once I get past 60+ mph I'm very on edge. It's the main reason I don't drive out of town more often, dealing with the interstate.
I've only been driving regularly again for the last year or so, but I lay into the horn on people that don't pay attention or follow street signs. It's 100% because of phones too. The laws need to catch up and severely punish people on their phones while behind the wheel. Make it unaffordable for them to be insured or something. I don't care about their jobs. Get out of the fucking way.
I'm really just unnerved because last weekend I was out getting groceries and the vehicle I was behind while pulling into the parking lot was just all over the place. They were swerving a bit while driving slow. Whatever, may be trying to just see what's behind a spot. Then it got bad and the vehicle clipped at least 3 parked cars. Not even all at once either. Banged one, kept driving a bit, bang another, swerve, bang - then an old lady got out the car and I was just....
I stopped about 50ft back to park and just look at damage but it was some shit. A whole crowd had gathered at that point and it irked me that she had the nerve to be embarrassed of all things. She tries to park finally and clips yet another vehicle and at that point at least 4 people had called the cops and cleared the area.
She really thought she was gonna do some shopping after all that too

My grandma hit a parked car trying to park at the bank decades ago and my dad just took her license away and said he'd do whatever errands for her or pick her up to do them and that she was done. If they do that to stationary vehicles that are easily seen imagine how much in danger kids on bikes and pedestrians are.
