By Yurtlicious Go To PostI can't sleep period lmaoooo
fuck.
edit: ahaha dy
I'm sleeping in two increments of 3-4 hours every day, more or less. It's not too bad, probably should have tried to combat it before adapting to it, but I'll make do for now.
Some of y'all should try taking 0.3-0.5mg (do not take more than this, it will not work) of melatonin 30 mins before bed

We need a furniture thread
I need a lamp recommendation. I want something old timey or traditional looking definitely not 'modern/clean/sleek'

I sleep at all times of the day and night
Sleep is great but don't recommend more than 8.5 hours per 24 hours

Smoking green as loud as Super Broly, to get me to sleep, at night. Wards off the night terrors, too. Lol
Bout to buy a house when this lease is us. I understand renting in a big city but otherwise? Shit seems like a total scam
Its all a scam, everywhere.
my new flat would fit in FM's lounge and its eye-watering how much I am paying for it.

My only advice is that if you buy, make sure it’s a suburb or area that’s being developed.

By data Go To PostI've never left the countrywild
tbf it takes me like an hour in any given direction to leave my country and yours is huge but i still can't imagine never having left it.
Have the feeling Data is not alone in that american sentiment.
https://www.insider.com/movehub-study-10-countries-most-well-travelled-citizens-2017-9
Despite having the highest GDP in the world, American citizens were among the least internationally travelled, taking only 0.2 trips a year per person. Only 46% of Americans have a passport as of 2017, and the country gets far fewer days in leave each year than others.

By data Go To PostDude the farthest ive been from Alabama is dc and Disney worlddata you gotta get around man
I think it will make you feel a lot better about yourself
hoping in 2021 we get international travel back
By data Go To PostI've never left the countryand you don't really need to living in the states, I'm serious. Bored? Drive or fly to another state. Yall so different it's fun
Being in one state your whole life is... If you're not gonna gamble on yourself every once in a while, are you even living? 😂
I've visited enough other states for a week at a time that I still prefer to live in Louisiana. I've only ever been in another state for multiple months with both Texas and Mississippi. California was only for a month and a week.
By Xpike Go To PostAmericans not going outside of America is the least surprising thing everI've only travelled internationally once and it was to Japan for two weeks. Pretty fun, tbh.
However, it takes so much time and effort to leave the country and not enough vacation days to do it. You can't just hop on a train and be somewhere else in a couple hours.
Mexico and Canada are the only bordering countries and they don't link to many other countries by land, either. Everything has to be air travel. Which is difficult because you either have to take an Uber/taxi to the airport (which could be an hour or longer drive), have someone drop you off and pick you up (look at those few vacation days Americans get), or park your car there for ridiculous prices on top of risking it being broken into or stolen or just damaged from the environment or other people.
The majority of people don't ever leave their birth country. Especially for developed nations, doubly especially for a country as big as the USA.
By Xpike Go To Posteven just going to Canada or Mexico would expose you to a completely different culture tbhGoing to South Florida would expose you to waaay more culture than Canada. Shit, you can't really even traverse through parts of south florida, texas or california if you don't know a little spanish.
Like I said, USA is fucking huge.
That was not my impression after being in Toronto for a week (forgot about this trip). It was just a cleaner big city like many I've been to before.
