i bought my kid a cool sled to go sledding but it hasn't snowed once this winter. crazy, there used to be so much snow here and there's literally none.
Korea was already taking Corona seriously but ramped it up to 11 now.
All schools are currently on spring break and the new year was gonna begin next week, but they have been delayed till the 9th.
My academy is private and they have closed the school for the week.
Just received a message from immigration that says my stay has been extended a month because they don't want anyone coming into immigration. I was due in at the start of March.

You reckon I just ride it out?

Get it looked at by a professional.
In the meantime, make sure you do a lot of stretching. Everything around the knee. Take a foam roller to your muscles, make everything as loose and supple as possible to give your knee and ligaments the best chance for healing and recovery. You feel any pressure or tightness at the site of injury?
I'm 5 months since a medial ligament sprain. It took 2 months before i could even jog a little on it. Now i can play football again, albeit i strap it up just in case.
I somehow fucked my knee when Mandzukic scored in Cardiff and it still hurts sometimes

I actually fucked my knee up, a few weeks ago. Been using KT Tape and an assortment of shit to keep it supported and I'm still taking my ass to see a professional. It still hasn't healed up fully, weeks later.
doctors are overrated, you can't beat forum advice
does your knee hurt without the support in day to day movement? they prevent your body from naturally strengthening around that area, don't use one if you don't need it. also try some fish oils and glucosamine sulphate to help speed up recovery.

Thats @ adam and GQ j/k
But the pain is barely noticeable it's only in the cold or when I run do I notice its there. Actually it's maybe a little background note of pain, nothing that stops me doing anything physical. Its not constant, I can go a good few hours without feeling anything and havent even been wearing the support everyday.
So I figured if I go through NHS by the time I get to physio it'll be months and I dont think it's that deep enough to go private. My body has healed from much worse and pain is really like 2/10 max, just niggling more than anything.
Any recommended stretches I can do for a knee? I definitely feel its joint/ligament related as it just felt stiff after 120kg on squats, the muscle felt fine with the weight.

Just go to a normal doctor and let it get checked.
ok cool I'll get it checked out, just feel theyre not going to tell me much. But before last year when I got lung infection I hadnt been doctors in like 13 years, maybe longer.

https://www.wired.com/story/how-silicon-valley-ruined-work-culture/
The modern tech company is obsessed with growth and profit, at the expense of its employees and to the benefit of its investors. Some lucky employees might have stock options, but most don’t, and even then it’s a small percentage of the money flowing back to investors. The perks, then, function like trick mirrors, “a way to distract employees and keep them from noticing that their pockets are being picked.” David Heinemeier Hanson, father of the programming language Ruby on Rails, has called this “trickle-down workaholism” the result of “trying to compress a lifetime’s worth of work into the abbreviated timeline of a venture fund.”
Worst of all, the tech world has managed to recast this workaholism for someone else’s profit as something desirable: “hustle culture.” It’s replaced the 9-to-5 with “the 996”—that is, 9 am to 9 pm, six days a week. Take it from Elon Musk: Nobody ever changed the world on 40 hours a week.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostIsn’t 996 a Chinese tech thing? Didn’t know they do that in the US too.I was on a schedule similar to that for a year when I had my first steady job after college. I quit after we finished a product release and my employers should feel privileged that I usually do 5/35 now. I'm never allowing myself to let someone else work me like that again, if it is at all in my power to do so.
Wake, work, sleep. Try to hang out with friends? Pass out halfway through. Try to cook or do anything constructive at home? Nah, my ability to concentrate and my willpower to do anything that required effort was sapped. Yeah, I could have pushed harder and did those after-work things, but then I wouldn't have had any time to just decompress and relax.
I wouldn't even work 9-9-6 for myself or if you gave me a seven figure salary.
I will half ass 7-6-5 and that's all you get.

Silicon Valley out there moving fast and breaking homeless peoples' assholes. That's how we got into this mess.
Fuck shared fences and neighbors. Fuck them so bad. One of my neighbors fence's fell. The fences are old red wood and they were terminated to all hell and had dry rot everywhere. They need replacing. Fuck … ok we will get involved. This is my neighbor to the west. I like them. My neighbor to the north seemed like she was involved. Agreed to pay for half etc etc. She, has done fuck all to prep for the fence repair though. She also neglected to let everyone know that the reason our fences fell in the first place (beyond them being in bad condition) is that she's got heavy stuff resting on the fence. So the fence guy need to build a retaining portion. She's going to be charged $400 more. Somehow my wife is handling that and not my neighbor to the north. My neighbor to the east of me is a property renter. We made efforts to get a hold of him for weeks. His tenants have odd hours, and they never passed the note along. When I finally got his number, he complained and said I wasn't giving him time. He wants to get more quotes blah blah. I'm like dude …. we're through the HOA. My neighbor to the west is requiring the contractor be fully licensed and insured. You're not getting better quotes. We finally agree to split the cost of the fence if I cover the cost of him needed to upgrade his gate cause we're going white vinyl instead of redwood. This dude has two spinklers that are busted and are flooding my yard. He said he would fix this for me. Fast forward to today and I'm' threatening him to have the fence split evenly and billed direct to him if he doesn't follow through and have his irrigation fixed by end of week. He was trying to tell me he would have it fixed sometime next week after he let it sit for a week doing nothing.
If anything I want more space between my and my neighbors. How the fuck anyone share walls full time? I would murder someone

It's a homeowners version of the same complaint I'm sure you've had yourself. Shitty neighbors. I would love to stand over this asshole, but I've never met the asshole because he's a landlord. He said to me in a text today "I'll have to see if my tenant will fix the sprinkler or if I will have to". Mother fucker you have your tenants doing your yardwork? No fucking wonder your irrigation is fucked and your lawn is only mowed once every two weeks tops.
I know you're thinking of jumping in soon. This is one of the downfalls.

I've had decent neighbors for the most part. My last house had block walls so it wasn't something that was needing maintenance often. This is the first time I'm living next to someone who rents though. The previous owner of my home was also a landlord, so he probably didn't give a fuck. I do though. This guy is going to start to get weekly complaints from me to the HOA if he doesn't start acting appropriately.
A benefit of the HoA I had no previously considered. They have the financial wherewithal to deal with this dude, I just have complaints or small claims court.
I'm doing an industry based course this semester where my team has to produce an updated weekly version of the final report. It is literally impossible for a human to meet the instructor's standards
