Celtic physio Tim Williamson rejects Man United move after three month saga
Dan King
CELTIC and Scotland physio Tim Williamson has told wannabe employers Manchester United to forget it.
Williamson was expected to move to Old Trafford as part of United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaerās shake-up of the medical department.
But he became so frustrated with how long it was taking to finalise terms that he informed United earlier this month he would be staying at Celtic Park.
It is understood that United were supposed to contact Williamson on a specific date in order to discuss arrangements for his relocation.
When the call didnāt come, Williamson decided to end a saga that had lasted three months and left United to go back to the drawing board.
Solskjaer has been concerned by the number of soft tissue injuries that players have suffered since he replaced Jose Mourinho just over a year ago.
United will have to decide whether to re-interview previous candidates or to start the search all over again.
Yeah, missed some big chances there. Still a decent performance, if nervy. I know this annoys the shit out of people, but I still donāt think the title is won, though Iāll admit weāre so far in front that I think it would take a disaster of biblical proportions for us to miss out at this point. Weāve already weathered big injuries this season, but if we lost, say, Firmino, Alisson, VVD, Mane and Salah...

Travelling to Australia has put me all out of sync.
The Newcastle result is so frustrating given the results around us. Feels like a major opportunity lost with the fixtures coming up.

Can't imagine Keane being anything other than seething with the 'Man Utd did okay today actually' narrative if the manager was basically anybody else.
They can support their m9 all they want, but they don't go in on the board nearly as much (not burning bridges I guess) and I just hate the hypocrisy.
Well, GNev is the only one who kinda goes in, but I mean, during Mou's spell his whole thing was "who are the people telling Mourinho his targets are wrong?" and "I'll never support a manager to be sacked, he needs time" but then he sits with fansites and talks down to fans about criticisms to the club because "Mourinho wanted Boateng and Perisic and just looked for short term so of course he didn't deserve to be backed" or worse, when fans were upset at the Herrera situation his whole thing was not to worry because there are loads of players like him. I mean, I guess there are... at other clubs. That's kinda the point. So now that their m9 is in they are just doing damage control for him.
They are legends, I don't think they'll ever go down in our estimations, but we can recognize people who can do a job and people who are out of their depth. So here we are...

Can anyone remember if there was such resistance from Liverpool legends when it started being suggested that Kenny might not be up to it? Think it was easier to accept for them maybe, since he'd been out of management for a decade or so. And as much criticism as FSG used to get, they hadn't made 4 bad managerial appointments in a row.
No, but fans didnāt think Kenny was a bad manager nearly as much as we all thought the playing staff just wasnāt good enough.
United We Stand podcast is a hell of a listen. Never realised just how many Hillsborough and Heysel slurs the United fans still sing. Really saddening.
Ornstein says we want Bellingham but are unwilling to pay what Birmingham want for him. I don't know how we expect to sign players tbh.

Your fans are pound for pounds the biggest cunts in all of England. I wouldnāt be throwing bricks there mate.
Kinda taking some small solace in the fact Liverpool have clinched the league already with so much of the season left to play. Not exciting, not emotional, nobody cares already and everyoneās already over it.
Though Pool fans will probably react to that the same as I did when we āwon the lotteryā or won the league... āsif I could give a fuck, we won. š

These days broadcasters do a great job of silencing rude/offensive chants so you don't notice them on the TV.

Van Dijk did not unfairly impede DDG because he attempted to play the ball. Is that how I should read the rules? Usually calls just go in favour of the goalkeeper whenever some obstruction happens within the six-yard box.

I'm a student in the last stages of my study so I'm doing a research at a local government organization. 4 days a week and the fifth day I usually work on it as well, but from home. If I finish this one the next one will be 5 days on location. And parttime at the shop indeed.
